What's this mean? The 6th Floor (talk) 22:32, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly what it says. Editors are not allowed to edit anything relating to the Israeli-Arab conflict (broadly interpreted) until you have at least 500 edits, (You have 107 at the moment). Huldra (talk) 22:55, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. it is strange as I've edited articles similar to this before with no issue. but ok. The 6th Floor (talk) 16:02, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you see that i have 107 edits? The 6th Floor (talk) 16:03, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi , Greetings. Pls note that your creation of Rsocket has been moved to Draft:Rsocket as no sources and citations as written to remain published. Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS (Note: Wikipedia can NOT be the source - see WP:CIRCULAR)
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. citing source - see WP:Citing sources and WP:Tutorial/Citing sources
  6. citing from internet source - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

(note: Citing source from web - Do not copy and past the URL address and paste into the body text, but click "cite" on menu page and fill in the fields as per the Template: cite web)

Once you have provided inline citations on the Draft:Rsocket, kindly ping me at my talk page or at your talk page by typing {{ping|CASSIOPEIA}} (please remove "nowiki" upon replying) for me to review the page to get it publish. For more editing help, you could send your question to the friendly and helpful volunteers at the Teahouse. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there are some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you and let me know if you need further assistance. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:34, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@CASSIOPEIA:, is a man page lie this - https://linux.die.net/man/7/rsocket - a usable source? The 6th Floor (talk) 19:10, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi The 6th Floor, Good day. You could use the source as indicated above, however, I would recommend to find another source to back up the content claimed as well. Secondly please reword (write in your own words) the content in the article as at the current stage you have violated the copy right infringement (it is a serious violation as the violation has legal implication) for you have copied and pasted the content from the source unto the article. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 20:43, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@CASSIOPEIA:, if you have the time, take a look at my most recent effort, and let me know what you think. The 6th Floor (talk) 17:08, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi THE 6TH Floor, Good day. You did a good job of rewriting the article and provide additional sources. I have fixed/changed/added some edits and please have a look at the history page of the article where I indicated the reasons of the changes. Do note that you have copied and pasted the URL for inline citation which is not the correct way to do it. Please see below info/instructions and kindly rework on the inline citation again.
Instructions: Citing source from web - Do not copy and past the URL address and paste into the body text, but click "cite" on menu page and fill in the fields as per the Template: cite web and save when it is done).
Examples below:
To add an in-line text citation for an internet reference, there are 3 web citing methods as below:
1.Source edit mode : fill in the source info as below
{{cite web |url= |title= |last= |first= |date= |website= |publisher= |access-date= }}
2a. Visual edit mode :Please click "cite" on the menu bar and fill in the info
2b.Visual edit mode: download Visual Editor and paste the URL and all fields will be filled automatically.

Once you have done with the inline citation, please ping me for me to review the article and if all is correct then it will be published. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:53, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
