“College years” on basketball player articles[edit]

Hi - the date range shown next to the college in the basketball infobox reports the player played for the varsity team. It’s not meant to represent the years they attended the school. Redshirt years, transfer seasons where the player sits out and freshman ineligibility aren’t shown. The only exception is if there is one or more one-year redshirt seasons (eg injury) so it doesn’t break one range into two. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 13:30, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok. That makes sense. Sorcererzthunder (talk) 14:16, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Scottie Pippen[edit]

The consensus is that if the player appears in at least one regulation game (regular season or playoff) for a team it goes in the infobox. If he doesn’t it doesn’t (even if I’m the regular season roster). I know Pippen at least played regulation games for the Finnish team, not sure about the Swedish one but I assume so.
