Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 16:56, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia, because it appears to be mainly intended or used for promotional purposes of a company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

In addition, accounts are for individuals only, not for companies or groups or other collective editing, and your username should reflect this.

Wikipedia is not a promotion website; this kind of activity is considered spam on Wikipedia, and forbidden by policies, and usernames that appear to be promotional also violate our username policy. Editing on Wikipedia is not intended to be used to promote anyone, or anything, and its use for that purpose will result in blocking of the account involved.

If you feel that there has been a mistake, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below or contacting the administrator who has blocked you. Your reason should include a clear response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy. Please check that your new username has not already been taken here.

Request reason:

I apologize for not reading all the rules first. I created aclcentral.com because I had trouble finding answers about my injury after it happened. aclcentral.com is not a for profit website. As stated on my website I hope it will be there to help newly injured people deal with the mental aspect of the injury and reassure them that this is not an end all injury. The first place I cam to when I got hurt was Wikipedia so this is the best place to get my website to the freshly injured. I urge you to allow this link on the ACL injury wiki. If you will not then I understand also. I am sure that ACL Central will be a great resource for injured people. I wish I could have found a site like it to help me deal with the injury. I understand that adding the link to the Sanders Clinic was stepping way out of line and it will not happen again.

Decline reason:

Declining, until you agree not to add your website link to any articles, and you agree to change you user name. Stephen 09:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I don't think you are getting the problem. You weren't blocked because you created a website helping people. You were blocked because you were advertising it here, which is expressly forbidden. I suggest that you read the guidelines on spam and corporations, then create an unblock request wich indicates that you understand what you did wrong, not one that tries to justify how great your site is. You weren't blocked for creating a site, you were blocked for spamming, so without addressing that issue, you will not be unblocked.--Terrillja talk 02:26, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

Additionally, do you agree to request a username change in case you are unblocked? — Aitias // discussion 19:30, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will request a user name change, how about yall just tell me what my user name should be.

That part's up to you; it should be reflective of you, the human being, and not the website or ACL issues in general. Many folks use their online nickname/handle; others, their own name in some form. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I think there's nothing wrong with assuming good faith then. Therefore I am willing to accept your request for unblock. Thus, I will contact the blocking admin. — Aitias // discussion 20:54, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
