That clarified it for me , but then, I had read the Irish Times ref 3. I have put that in and anyone who needs further clarification will see there that there are 2 elements to the book, memoir and her response to certain English classics. Aineireland (talk)

Rachel Butler

Dear Smirkybec, I came across the Irish writer 19th-century Lady Rachel Evelyn Butler. This may be an occasion for you to create an article. She has written at least two published books:

• Butler, Rachel Evelyn (1862), The Prophecy, vol. 1, London: Richard Bentley

Alexander Strain

Hi Not sure why you have his marriage as 1901. The Dictionary of Irish Architects you cite gives it as circa 1898. I found the marriage cert online and it was 13 April 1898. Kathleen's maiden name was Parr, but I suppose you cannot add that as it is primary source. Aineireland (talk) 20:58, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

It seemed irrational not to be able to give Kathleen Parr's surname when the marriage cert showed it on irishgenealogy.ie. I checked further about wikipedia sources and it seemed that primary sources could under certain circumstances be used. I tried to put in a link to the actual image of the cert, but that seemed not to be possible, probably because you must purchase copies. I hope what I have done is acceptable. I'm planning to try and get my hands on the book about Dublin houses by Ruth McManus as well as another relevant book, so they might further illuminate. Another article I wrote, Maire Quinn, has similar primary source information added to it.
