- @Overtone11:. I reverted your edit because it seemed to me to be incorrect grammatically. Adding a pair of commas - prior to and after a specific term, name etc is similar to using brackets. The sentence doesn't make sense using the second comma because you can then read it without the term, name etc. In Scotland, , had a jester called Nichola. I may be wrong and am happy to be corrected Robynthehode (talk) 12:02, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. The sentence, as I amended it, was: "In Scotland, Mary, Queen of Scots, had a jester called Nichola." The comma after "Mary" is one of a pair, so it should come with a second. The bracketing happens around "Queen of Scots": the omission of this phrase produces "In Scotland, Mary had a jester called Nichola." Overtone11 (talk) 12:32, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Overtone11:. Must have misread. I thought there was only two commas - one after Scotland and one after Scots which is why I reverted. With the one after Mary it now makes sense. Robynthehode (talk) 13:59, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I have observed that almost all my edits have been reverted? I am really upset. Please help me understand this because i invested my time and efforts into this. Skybluepants24 (talk) 08:17, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Skybluepants24: I posted on your talk page the reason (as had another editor). The reason is overlinking MOS:OVERLINK. If you persist in going against Wikipedia protocols then your edits are likely to be reverted. Please be aware that just because an editor makes edits and no matter how much time an editor spends editing if those edits do not conform to Wikipedia practices and protocols then they are likely to be reverted. If you disagree with a reversion, according to WP:BRD you should take your reasons to the specific article talk page to discuss why you think your edit should be included in the article Robynthehode (talk) 12:14, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
