Good job patrolling recent changes. I was sitting here tonight for quite some time and noticed you were very active and quick in curbing vandals. Keep it up. Hope to see you soon on recent changes! Field Marshal Aryan (talk • contribs) 22:38, 21 June 2020 (UTC) |

Hotel episode guide
Not sure why you deleted one of my episode descriptions I added. I was just trying to make the guide a bit more elaborate. Also, is it okay if I change the airdates for Season 2 (1984-85)? Most of the airdates from that season are all wrong. I'm not sure who compiled them, but it looks like they went with the RERUN airdates and not the ORIGINAL ones. If you want, I can provide the correct airdates for you.--2600:6C50:700C:200:B052:A56C:6712:CC97 (talk) 19:23, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Teahouse talkback: you've got messages!
Hello, I'm not sure how to edit wikipedia articles/use talk pages since this is my first time, but you recently removed an error on the Daedalion page. I was reading Poetica Mythologica by Messenianus and stumbled upon a strange version of the story which I felt like could be added to the page. You said that I was testing out wikipedia for your reasoning, and removed that edit. However, it was merely a mistake, and I meant for that edit to remain on the page. Using this talk page is quite difficult, and I don't even know if I'm using it right. If you could send me a phone number, email, or something else to make this easier, I'd love to talk to you about my edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Richardp88 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Richardp88: Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Please sign your talk page comments with SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 04:54, 23 June 2020 (UTC). The mistake falls under the definition of a test edit, to be exact. I recommend WP:The Wikipedia Adventure if you want to learn how to edit. If you need additional help with editing, ask the Teahouse, a place where volunteers ask the questions of new Wikipedians. SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 04:54, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @SuperGoose007: Hello, I'm trying to send a message but Wikipedia is telling me that it is potentially unconstructive. How do I bypass that? Regardless, I have both the English translation and the original Latin at hand for my source, so if I could somehow send that to you it would be great. For some reason, Wikipedia isn't letting me paste it here. Richardp88 (talk) 05:05, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Richardp88
- Richardp88 It is most likely an anti-copyright violation edit filter designed to prevent large scale copy-pasting of text by new users has blocked your edit. Try putting a citation to the text instead. Alternatively, you can file a false postive report here. SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 15:35, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello, SuperGoose007, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I greatly appreciate your efforts to fight vandalism on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Invitation to RedWarn
Hello, SuperGoose007! I'm Ed6767. I noticed you have been using Twinkle and was wondering if you'd like to beta test my new tool called RedWarn, specifically designed to improve your editing experience.
RedWarn is currently in use by over a hundred other Wikipedians, and feedback so far has been extremely positive. In fact, in a recent survey of RedWarn users, 90% of users said they would recommend RedWarn to another editor. If you're interested, please see the RedWarn tool page for more information on RedWarn's features and instructions on how to install it. Otherwise, feel free to remove this message from your talk page. If you have any further questions, please ping me or leave a message on my talk page. Your feedback is much appreciated! Rollback granted
Hi SuperGoose007. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! -- Amanda (aka DQ) 18:18, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
- Congrats SuperGoose007, not even a month on and you have rollback enabled. Good going! Regards, Field Marshal Aryan (talk) 18:23, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Teahouse Host
Thank you for volunteering as a Host at the Teahouse. Wikipedia is a community of people working together to make knowledge free. You are an important part of that effort! By joining as a Host, and by following our expectations, you are helping new users to get started here at Wikipedia, and aiding more experienced users who just have a question about how something works. We appreciate your willingness to help!
Here are some links you may find helpful as a Host:
- Useful scripts you can install to make responding easier,
- templates to use and, of course:
- the question forum itself.
Editors who have signed up as hosts, but who have not contributed at the Teahouse for six months or so may be removed from the list of hosts.

Query
Hi SuperGoose007. Thanks for your work in counter-vandalism! Out of curiosity, have you ever edited using a different Wikipedia account in the past? Despite having been around since June 18, you've already submitted almost 3000 edits and seem to have already developed an understanding of our processes that we might find in an experienced user. This is, of course, not always a bad thing—we can and have recruited new editors who are quick learners, and clean starts are generally not considered improper. If you would like, you may also respond to me privately via Special:EmailUser/Mz7. Thanks, Mz7 (talk) 05:25, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Mz7: I browsed the project pages for some time as a IP, going back and forth on what ever or not I should join the community. The explains my high level of knowage about Wikipedia polices form a new user. SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 16:02, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Sockpuppeteer notice
Hello! I undid this template. It is genrally only used by checkusers, admins or SPI clerks after an SPI has concluded. Most people don't notify someone they are the subject of an SPI, as it is not required. You can notify them on their talk page if you like.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 00:49, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- Twinkle has a very polite and much less caustic notice for those who do not rise to the level of a WP:SPI being filed. It's agf-sock under single-issue warnings. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:36, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
Also, if you see a long term abuser who is vandalising Wikipedia - such as User:My Royal Young, it is best not to place warnings or block notices on the talk page. If you do so, one of the following may happen:
- You may receive personal attacks or harassment from the user (this has happened to me from an LTA called Nate Speed)
- It is just best to deny recognition to true vandals and trolls
If you follow these tips, you should just be fine! Train of Knowledge (Talk) 02:24, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
