Hiya RSTWolf! Welcome to Wikipedia. There isn't a way to merge accounts. So, your IP edits will stay with the IP and edits you make with this account will stay with this account. It is best to not disclose your IP because it can be looked up to identify your region in the best case and every single thing about you in the worst case. If you are having trouble getting started, may be visit the Task centre and see if you feel comfortable trying anything. Perhaps start with copyediting and fixing typos.
