Parapsychology Experiments[edit]

I too would be interested in seeing a record of successful paranormal experiments, that have stood the test of time. So far, when controls are tightened on positive experiments, these results have disappeared. I do not consider myself a skeptic, but rather a genuinely curious amateur historian who has kept their eye on parapsychology for the last 45 years, observing its successes and failures. I have always found the writings in their books and journals by the past and present hotshot parapsychologists fascinating (and a bit bizarre) and most certainly selective. User:Kazuba 31 May 2006

Dean Radin[edit]

Why am I not surprised Dean Radin claims to have bent a spoon by an unordinary force, his mind? See: Dean Radin's website, Blog, Doesn't Like the Bent Spoon) Over the edge? This is parapsychology. It never changes. Too bad User:Kazuba 10 Aug 2006 Kazuba I just can't help myself. When Radin bent that spoon was it a stringent experiment? 11 Aug 2006

You knew I'd call, but I don't know if you got the message[edit]

Parapsychologist Rupert Sheldrake is in the Yahoo news for telephone and e-mail telepathy. Where do they come from? User:Kazuba 5 Sept 2006

Rating the ToK[edit]

Speedy deletion of Husband Cake[edit]

A tag has been placed on Husband Cake requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. --Alinnisawest(talk) 02:35, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block. -- Cirt (talk) 01:19, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock-spamun|Phronko|I believe I was blocked for linking to my own blog. I thought the links were appropriate, but if that is not allowed, I apologize. My username, however, I believe is legitimate. I have gone by this name for years, and it is not a company or organization; it shares a name with my personal blog only. I will continue making quality contributions to other topics, as I always have. Thank you for your understanding.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):
