Problematic articles

I see no conflict of interest in tagging articles that lack notability with a "proposed deletion" tag. A prod (as we call it) is just the beginning of the process. Eventually, either the case is made adequately for notability, or the article is deleted. I wish folks were more aggressive in prodding articles when they feel that the WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS problem is too blatant. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:39, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
