Finsta Mofo moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Finsta Mofo, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello. Regarding this edit, it does not matter if none of those artists are credited as "featured" artists. They are discussed in a reliable source as people Koenig collaborated with during the sessions. They may still have contributed instruments or vocals to tracks but not be credited as a feature as well. That being said, it is very common on album articles to note whom an artist worked with during the album sessions, even if nothing from those sessions or collaborations ended up on the final album. They do not have to be "confirmed" to be on the album to be mentioned. We commonly say "...but none of their contributions made it on to the final record". I don't know where your logic for this comes from, but "featuring x" is not the be-all and end-all barometer for inclusion. Ss112 06:25, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I understand your position on this matter, and it's one I completely agree with. However, when I saw the artists Danielle Haim and Steve Lacy included in this article as collaborators on this album, a red flag went up for me. These two were heavily involved in the recording of Vampire Weekend's previous album, Father of the Bride. Their contributions even extended beyond the songs that credited them as features. When I clicked on the cited reference for this information, neither of these artists were mentioned as having any involvement in this specific album, Only God Was Above Us. I assumed that this was a mistake or an oversight when researching this album and the user accidentally included info about Father of the Bride. Now, if I in fact made an oversight when looking at the reference and these artists are in fact involved in this album in any way, I apologise. But as far as I can see, they are not. DYK for Only God Was Above Us[edit]

On 20 March 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Only God Was Above Us, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the title of Vampire Weekend's upcoming fifth studio album, Only God Was Above Us, is derived from a 1988 New York Daily News article about an aircraft's roof being torn off mid-flight? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Only God Was Above Us. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Only God Was Above Us), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
