Managing a conflict of interest[edit]
Hello, Nameernkhan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

- Thanks for getting back and sharing all the right information. I sent an draft article for submission but it got marked as G11. Could I pls get some insight on why, so for the next draft I'll be submitting the same mistakes can be avoided. Thanks Nameernkhan (talk) 06:02, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello, Nameernkhan,
Talk pages are to aid editors in communicating to better improve this project. So, it is not the correct location to be writing an article draft. Therefore, I have moved your draft article to your Sandbox, in your User pages.
Editors are discouraged from trying to write an article about themselves. It is unlikely to be approved by Articles for Creation as it is doubtful that you have notability as established from reliable, secondary independent sources. There are individuals with social media accounts with millions of followers or subscribers who are not considered "notable" by Wikipedia standards. This is an encyclopedia, after all, not a directory or a social media platform. I encourage you to use your knowledge to help improve existing articles on the project as writing new articles from scratch is one of the most difficult tasks here, especially for new editors like yourself.
