FDCPA

Hi Qball, if you check out my user page, there is a communication section (not my talk page) I was sort of castigated over my re-write of the FDCPA article. I did respond, not very favorably but I was hoping that it would at least, stimulate some conversation. Thanks --Julien Deveraux 17:41, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Nice new name, I hopped back over to the article tonight because I got curious. The article now seems kinda gutted; what happened? --Julien Deveraux 04:24, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request

This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 22:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Careful

Please be more careful when reverting. Your recent changes to Eve Bunting removed my good edits along with the vandalism you intended to revert. --ShelfSkewed [Talk] 05:02, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

No problem. Someone did me the same sort of favor a few days ago. Too much late-night editing for me, as well. --ShelfSkewed [Talk] 13:57, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi, the debate was closed with the result to merge the article Nigga Moments into The Boondocks (TV series). Since I'm not familiar with the subject (I've never seen the series), I'd appreciate if you could merge the "small relevant part" of it to the target article, as per your comment (and changed the nigga moments article to a redirect afterwards). Don't feel obliged to do anything if you don't feel like it, I just figured you had a better chance of merging something relevant than I have. - Bobet 22:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, and no, there's no deadline for performing the merge. It's just that after a while (weeks/months), if a merge wasn't done someone would probably renominate the article for deletion or just redirect to the target article without merging anything. - Bobet 10:42, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Kiski School

Good work on being the first to try to put out that fire on the Kiski School page. You appeared to be the only one there when I arrived and the vandalism was coming in so fast, I couldnt keep track of it. Insane! Caper13 05:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

No problem, your doing a good job reverting keep it up. I have warned USER:Omirix about re-instating that section without first discussing it on the talk page. Gnangarra 05:26, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I go to the kiski school, my name is Ed Poon, class of 2009. i am furious, everything that article said was true, i know from first hand expirience. i was wondering, is there any current students that protest that article? if not, y not leave it as it lies until someone that has proof that its false can protest? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Edpoon (talkcontribs)

Constitution

Hi, I've replied here. If you want to see how others feel then you can just send it to the Virginia WikiProject's peer review section. T Rex | talk 23:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

re:

I went ahead and deleted it... it really shouldn't be removed unless someone actually objects to deletion. If the band had an article (apparently it doesn't) I'd suggest a merge/redirect there. --W.marsh 00:49, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Terrorism

Restoring incredibly POV claims in support of internationally recognized and a self-proclaimed terrorist makes you a terrorist. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.248.192.2 (talkcontribs) 22:29, 3 December 2006 (UTC).

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Philanthropist, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Philanthropist. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. — Sebastian (talk) 04:03, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Octavian

Thanks for the heads' up. My concern is that the following pages could also be added to the disambig page:

and maybe:

So, I'd rather expand the disambig page to include all of the articles with Octavian in the title, rather than simply make one redirect. You'd have to put the otherpeople tag at least 9 times on each of these pages. SkierRMH 09:09, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for all of the work in rearranging that material! Hopefully that will clarify the disambig problems a bit! SkierRMH 06:28, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. Although there appears to be some degree of legitimate debate about which "standard" to use with respect to such words as "behaviour" and other words ending in "..ior" or "..iour", in this case the "..ize" and "..ise" is fairly well settled by the Oxford English Dictionary. There's the notable exception of "analyse" (OED) vs. "analyze" (North American), where there are a roughly equivalent number of folks using each, depending on where you're located on the planet. I don't see a clear solution to this at the moment, but the question presented in consumer appeared fairly straightforward-- the audience for the OED/North-American spelling is at least ten times larger than that on the British Isles per se. ...
