Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. There are two things I'd like to address regarding your edits: 1. You will need to provide a reliable source for some of your edits - a news link should do the trick. 2. The last edit appeared to promote her website (which is already listed on the last part of the article). Please note that Wikipedia may not be used as a vehicle for evangelisation purposes. If you have any questions, feel free to reply below. Thank you! lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:55, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Marie Osmond photo IMG 20210902 222027 449.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Marie Osmond photo IMG 20210902 222027 449.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:30, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, hoping you can help. I work for Marie Osmond & am trying to upload the above photo file at the request of her executive assistant, social media manager, & management team. Marie owns the copyright to the photo & it has been used for advertising, merchandise, and other promotional purposes. I don't know which "tag" to use to keep the photo from being deleted from Wikipedia. Could you please let me know? I've read through the lists & help pages & I still don't know which tag to use. Thanks for your help. Modsquad3 (talk) 10:55, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply. I am simply trying to update the Marie Osmond page with current information & a recent photo. I am trying to comply with all Wikipedia regulations & do not wish to advertise or promote, simply update the page. I appreciate your help & advice if I have inadvertently done something inappropriate. Thank you. Modsquad3 (talk) 10:45, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you have been editing the Marie Osmond page. I work at the BYU Library and we have been working on Wikipedia pages on the Osmonds as part of our work on LDS musicians' pages. Please let me know if you would like help learning how to edit or navigating possible conflict of interest. My email is on this BYU library directory page or available from the "email this user" link on my userpage (it appears in one of the sidebars on userpages).
