Notice

The article 2022 in Canada has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

We don't normally have articles more than 1 year in advance for "[YEAR] in [country]" articles. See Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/2023_in_the_Philippines and Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/2022_in_the_Philippines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 23:59, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to be the only '2022 in [country' article on the wiki (except the likely-to-be-deleted 2022 in the Philippines). The cutoff appears to have naturally developed as one year in advance; even then, those articles are usually only created towards the end of the preceding calendar year. 2021 in Canada is also an anomaly. I wonder if moving to draft or user space to await a more appropriate time for creation would be an acceptable compromise? — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 22:31, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Card games introduced in 1933 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Maria Sole Agnelli[edit]

Hey Mindmatrix, thank you so much for adding information to the Maria Sole Agnelli page! I just wanted to warn you that you said that she was the niece of Giovanni Agnelli when, in fact, she was the grand daughter. No hate at all, I’m just warning you I’m going to change it and wanted to avoid any confusion. Again, thank you very much for your help, Kind Regards RCdS Ranieri001 (talk) 09:32, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ranieri001: I only corrected your original writing: "...as she was the nephew of the deceased founder of FIAT, Giovanni Agnelli...", changing 'nephew' to 'niece', as the former is for males. I didn't change the context or meaning in any way. Mindmatrix 13:44, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, while scrolling through the page I noticed you made another error but I can understand I might have been unclear. This is because when I said her dead’s husband son, I didn’t mean Bernardino but rather Rovero, since Maria Sole’s husband had another son before marrying her, Rovero. Rovero is not her son but he did become mayor after her. I hope I cleared any misunderstanding before I do the edits. Sincerely RCdS - Ranieri001 (talk) 09:38, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

OK, that wasn't clear in the original phrasing. The word you should probably use is 'stepson'. Mindmatrix 13:44, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Solving the dubious presence of whatsapp in the List of products based on FreeBSD[edit]

Hi, maybe my attempt to create a new section in the page was not perfect, so tanks to point it. But now do you have a to fix the issue on the article ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ros975 (talkcontribs) 21:25, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested Changes From E Ink[edit]

I proposed some changes to the Electronic Paper page per WP:COI but didn’t get a response. I saw that you have edited the page previously and was wondering if you would be willing to take a look. The suggested changes are shown here. They primarily have to do with mis-use of our trademark and some criticisms cited to a vendor blog. CDaignault1 (talk) 19:36, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations! With 7,779 views, your Medalta Potteries hook is one of the most viewed hooks for the month of December. Accordingly, it has been included at DYKSTATS December. Even more impressive given that it appeared in a 12-hour queue. Keep up the good work! Cbl62 (talk) 21:02, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
