A barnstar for you![edit]

The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
Thank you for participating in the March 2024 GA backlog drive. Your noteworthy contribution (7 points total) helped reduce the backlog by more than 250 articles! Here's a token of our appreciation. —Ganesha811 (talk) 16:14, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ganesha811 thank you for the appreciation! Maxim Masiutin (talk) 16:57, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 14[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited CYP4F2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Polymorphism.

Re: Comment on perennial sources[edit]

I'm glad! Nemo 17:50, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! Hope you are doing all fine here :) I am curious to tell you this, because I saw you on the subject's revision history that while you have accepted an edit from an anonymous user (in terms of pending changes), you should be aware (next time) that there's a notice in the "successor" parameter of his infobox saying that Prabowo's name shouldn't be filled in the said one (plus, change something also to reflect the change) unless or until he takes office on October 20. Please, you have be careful on what you are going to accept any revisions in any articles under the "pending changes protection" feature, don't just be quick enough more and more (hehehe), but anyway, I appreciate your work here on Wikipedia as one of the longtime users! Thanks for your understanding and regards, ----Rdp060707|talk 14:06, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I thought I checked on successor and whether the proposed changes are properly backed up, but in that particular area I'm not a subject matter expert. If I screwed things up, please forgive me and revert. I will try to only accept changes where I have expertise. Sorry again. Maxim Masiutin (talk) 15:13, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Topic ban[edit]

As a result of this ANI discussion you are topic banned from WP:GAN and its talk page for six months. As this is a topic ban and not a partial block it applies to any discussion related to GAN on the English Wikipedia. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:32, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! Can you please suggest:
  1. May I talk on that GA talk page of a current review of Talk:Ketotifen/GA2 in case if the current reviewer User:Fritzmann2002 have questions or concerns?
  2. How should I proceed if a potential reviewer will pick up articles I nominated earlier: CYP4F2, Drug-eluting stent, Modafinil: am I allowed to talk in their respective GA talk pages?
Maxim Masiutin (talk) 20:40, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Maxim Masiutin. I've removed the three unreviewed GANs from the queue, since you wouldn't be able to discuss them without violating the topic ban. I understand this may be annoying, since they've been in the queue for months. But I think disengaging with the process for now is best. You're still welcome to edit those articles, or other articles in that topical area. If you seek feedback on improving a particular article, you can post at a relevant WikiProject, or at WP:Peer Review. Best, Ajpolino (talk) 21:25, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I hope we will able to further improve these articles that you removed from the queue and then nominate again after six months. Maxim Masiutin (talk) 21:27, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ajpolino, would you mind also removing Ketotifen from the queue? I have done my best to review it but don't think it will get there either. A similar issue was reached in the first review, which also ended inconclusively. Fritzmann (message me) 21:35, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, just removed it as well. Maxim Masiutin, of course, the same applies as above. All the best, Ajpolino (talk) 22:27, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Both of those would be prohibited by your topic ban. Looks like you're getting the assistance necessary to get your work pulled from the queue. If you have any other questions let me know. Ping me if you do though. My watchlist is legitimately out of control. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:03, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Ketotifen[edit]

The article Ketotifen you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Ketotifen for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. DYK for Histamine N-methyltransferase[edit]

On 30 April 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Histamine N-methyltransferase, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the enzyme histamine N-methyltransferase regulates essential brain functions and sleep–wake cycles in humans? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Histamine N-methyltransferase. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Histamine N-methyltransferase), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hi Maxim Masiutin. Thank you for your work on Multiscale Dissociation Inventory. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for starting this page for this screening test. It seems to have been used over the course of the last 18 years, so shows some sustained coverage. At times it makes slightly bold claims based only on the original primary source, so a little more balancing from a neutral point of view might be warranted. It would also be helpful to see a comparison between this screening tool and others, like the Dissociative Experiences Scale.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Klbrain (talk) 09:17, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Maxim, just a heads up on some reversion I have done on a few of your latest edits:

- Swuste: the DOI is indeed broken, I reinstated the broken tag

- The Work Environment Act: removed redundant link to archived copy

- Chebotarev (2018): not by subscription, I eliminated the tag

- Badri et al (2019): I deleted the hdl because it leads to a different documents.

Cheers. --- JudeFawley (talk) 08:24, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Probably I should stop doing revisions in the topics where I don't have full understanding. I only participate in editing steroidogenic enzymes and pharmaceutical drugs where I have no experience. The topics that you listed are not in my area of competence. Or I should ask the administrators to remove this flag from my account (pending changes reviewer) because I don't have enough time recently to do thorough reviewing of the topic where I don't understand the full picture. What do you think how should I proceed? Maxim Masiutin (talk) 01:49, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry, most of the edits you did on that article were OK. I think a few of the citation data slipped (possibly because of bot usage? I am not sure), but that happens. --- JudeFawley (talk) 09:16, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I contribute to the citations bot. If it does something incorrectly, we can fix that. Alternatively, there are tags that preent the bot from modifying particular citations or even the whole article. If you wish I can put these tags to the citations that you tell, or you can do that yourself, see the documentation at User:Citation_bot/use, the section is "... the bot made a mistake?", so User:Citation_bot/use#... the bot made a mistake? - you will see the examples of <!-- Deny Citation Bot--> Maxim Masiutin (talk) 14:49, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just tried to be helpful but it turned out to be not very helpful, maybe you give me an advice on how to proceed. Maxim Masiutin (talk) 01:50, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I recently made a couple of edits from the pending changes to review queue, can you please check whether they are correct? Maxim Masiutin (talk) 02:05, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
