Indian Religions[edit]

Thank you Manishbhai for your edits to Indian religions. Check out the madcap edits done by IAF and his ilk on Religion_in_India also. His sole aim seems to make bombastic claims bordering on lunacy to glorify Hinduism and vedic religion at the cost of Jainism (and other Indian religions). Please carry on your edits.

Secondly, I have created a new article on Ahimsa in Jainism. Would appreciate your inputs on the doctrine of Ahimsa.--Anish Shah 19:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am seeking help to deal with the disruptive behavior of User:IAF on the pages of Indian religions. He is intent on proving that Jainism is a derivative of Vedic religion and ignoring all the proofs and multitude of references of western and Indian scholars that I have provided. He is indulging in edit warring and ignoring the antiquity and contributions of Jainism and Sramanas to the Indian Culture. Maximum, that he can turn up with is 2 or 3 websites as sources and fringe theorists like Stephen Knapp – who claims that all Greeks, Romans, Egyptians were Hindus and Taj mahal was a Hindu Temple. Thanks--Anish (talk) 11:12, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Fazila Allana[edit]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Fazila Allana, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fazila Allana. Thank you. Pharmboy (talk) 17:24, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revert warring[edit]

Please be aware that the revert warring on Indian religions could result in your account being temporarily blocked. WP:3RR states that three reverts is an upper limit and that any edit warring through reverts in unacceptable. If there is continuous back and forth on an article, it would be best if you request page protection (to prevent further edit warring) and seek dispute resolution (to help focus on seeking consensus). If a user is disruptive, please seek sysop assistance on the incidents noticeboard and/or seek community input regarding their behavior. Vassyana (talk) 14:41, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Bollee[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bollee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. скоморохъ 03:42, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article/bio was written like a complete curriculum vitæ with absolutely no information about the the professor other than his works. There were also no verifiable citations given to prove his notabiltiy. I will not restore the article in it's current form, you'll have to come up with a completely new and revised version that meets the requirements noted above otherwise it will most likely be deleted as well.
By the way, you've already left a message on my talk page about restoring the article, there is no need to create the article to leave another message. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 04:36, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You waited a whopping eight minutes between your last full creation of the article and your plea in the next article which I warned you about in my last message. In between, you left a message on my talk page. How fast do you expect me to react? Jauerbackdude?/dude. 04:39, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I created and pasted the article on a subpage of your user page at User:Manish Modi/Sandbox/Bollee for you to work on it easier. If you'd rather not have this page, just let me know, and I'll delete it for you. Please, please take a look at the links in the Welcome message above about creating your first article. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 04:52, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you don't have to email it. If you make the changes on the link I provided you, you can always post the link on the Wikipedia Help Desk and someone will be glad to take a look at it. Since I'm not always around and a wider audience will see it there, this is probably your best bet. Best of luck! Jauerbackdude?/dude. 05:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help required on Anekantavada[edit]

The article Anekantavada has been promoted as GA and now I intend to nominate it for FA status. However the promoter of article Redtigerxyz (talk · contribs) was unable to check all the references and has put a checkcite tag on the top of the article. This is a stumbling block for FA status. He has suggested that some one with good knowledge of Jainism review the article as to – “whatever written in the article is a fair interpretation of the philosophy of Anekantavada”. You find any concerns this may be corrected. Then you can leave a note to this effect on the talk pages of the article and then this tag can be removed. As you have a fairly good amount of knowledge of Jain philosophy, I seek your assistance to review it for any inconsistencies as per your understanding and then leave your comments. Thanks--Anish (talk) 14:24, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Manish, perhaps you would care to also comment here: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Anekantavada. Alastair Haines (talk) 12:25, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you have kept Indian religions on your watch list. Have a peek there. One anon IP is trying to disrupt it once again.--Anish (talk) 06:20, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
