Invitation to the WikiProject of Weather[edit]

Hey LoveHop123! I see you have an interest in the Hurricane Hilary (2023), so I wanted to invite you to the WikiProject of Weather. A Wikipedia:WikiProject is just a group of editors who all have the same interests! In this case...The Weather! Everyone is welcome! You would have the opportunity to meet other editors who have the same interests as you, and who could help guide you to creating articles yourself! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, or you can just message me here! Have a wonderful day! Cheers! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 02:23, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. 173.23.45.183 (talk) 00:42, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I saw you on the talk page for Hurricane Hilary. You made a comment that tornadoes don’t occur in California. Actually, I’m working on the list of them, there are about 5 of them in the state every year! I don’t know if you like California weather by chance, but in the event you do, would you have any interest helping out with the list? Hurricanehink mobile (talk) 15:53, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/LoveHop123. Thank you. Some advice from one fairly new user[edit]

Hi, you can take or leave this advice, that's up to you. Can I suggest you leave noticeboards alone for now (with the exception of AIV)? I've 10,000+ edits and I rarely post on noticeboards, let alone get involved with closures. I would suggest you stick with editing, reverting vandalism etc until you gain more exerience in Wikipedia policy and etiquette. I watch all the boards as it is a good way to find out how things operate here but never get involved in closing as it's usually a complicated business judging when it is appropriate. You're obviously eager to be involved in the Wikipedia project, which is great. I would advise watching and learning for now. As I said, you can take or leave this advice. That's up to you. Happy editing, Knitsey (talk) 11:49, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It's the general opinion here that, to put it weakly, ANI is not the nicest place to be around. New users can get into trouble quite frequently by 'clerking' noticeboards: it's quite a common problem. There's a lot of things you can do in Wikipeda without ever having to go to ANI for any reason. I'd recommend that you check out the Teahouse, which can supply answers to any questions you have when editing. All the best, Schminnte (talk contribs) 12:22, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the above, although I think we still need to straighten out your accusation that pages associated with your talk page were deleted by the editor you mentioned. Doug Weller talk 14:00, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well. I have a hard time believing you intend to be a legitimate Wikipedia user. ItsCheck (talk) 00:03, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just going to leave a little comment here as it feels relevant that this user has saved most (all?) warning templates at User:LoveHop123/sandbox. While technically there's nothing wrong with that, I found that quite surprising when I noticed, and I'm glad other users have pointed out some... oddities here. estar8806 (talk) 01:32, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hold on. First of all, how were you able to access my sandbox? And second, how is adding all the warning templates on there not a good thing? LoveHop123 (talk) 01:35, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you explain that to me please? Thank you. LoveHop123 (talk) 01:35, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All sandboxes are public. I did in fact say there's nothing wrong with that. It just felt relevant as other editors were posting out some advice for you as a new user. Perhaps staying away from ANI and issuing warnings is best. Simply advise, nobody is trying to prevent you from doing anything. We simply don't want to get in trouble by making a mistake. estar8806 (talk) 01:38, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) You need to answer Doug Weller's question.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:39, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just saw that the conversation was closed. No need to discuss anymore about the user. LoveHop123 (talk) 01:42, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The closure of the thread is irrelevant to your accusation. Answer the question. Last chance.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:44, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Look. The user deleted a few of my pages a few months ago. Okay? That's all. LoveHop123 (talk) 01:46, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have no deleted pages. What pages are you talking about?--Bbb23 (talk) 01:59, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Look. If you don't believe me, go ahead and block me if I'm such a pain. I don't get why, but I'm not very happy at the moment with all of this. LoveHop123 (talk) 02:01, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@LoveHop123 no, you have only had one subpage, your sandbox. What pages then are you referring to? I’d like to believe you but I need evidence. Doug Weller talk 02:09, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The talk page on my old account, which was on my old device, had multiple pages deleted by the user. You probably won't be able to locate my old account at this point. LoveHop123 (talk) 02:12, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Let's review what you've said thus far: (1) a "few months ago" Guy V. Coulombe (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) "deleted" subpages of your old account's Talk page; (2) you apparently don't remember the username of your old account, or at least you haven't disclosed it ("you probably won't be able to locate my old account at this point"); (4) you haven't identified the names of the deleted pages. First, is what I've said correct? Second, what do you mean by "deleted" (Guy cannot actually delete pages as he is not an administrator)? Third, you created the LoveHipHop123 account and started editing with it on November 30, 2022, nine months ago. That means you were operating two accounts "a few months ago"; is that right?--Bbb23 (talk) 13:43, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't responded, although you have been editing other pages. You must respond here before you edit any other pages on Wikipedia. If you do not, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:37, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I lied. I just wanted the guy to be blocked because of the disruptions he caused according to ANI. Sorry. LoveHop123 (talk) 15:49, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Block me. LoveHop123 (talk) 15:49, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
