Yes, prods are very weak. In this case the article in question was deleted under CSD G11. I think in general, WP:CSD is used for obviously and blatantly problematic content that should be deleted immediately, WP:PROD is used for uncontested, essentially maintenance deletions, and WP:AFD is used for other cases.

(There's a special variant of PROD, WP:BLPPROD, which is used for new biographies of living people. BLPPROD is applied when no sources are in a new article and the tag cannot be removed unless sources are added.) OSborn ^arf_contribs. 01:01, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

I contest the speedy deletion because: I am sorry, I didn't mean to delete the speedy deletion. I simply went to the page and added a couple of reference. I have more references and will be working on this over the following week. Michael Ray Johnston is a historic figure in the rock music heritage of Kansas City, MO. He has written a number of copyrighted songs and commercial ads in the 70's and was a member of several prominent bands whose members are part of published record contracts. As I am able to get more references I will be expanding the page and linking it to the appropriate support material. I also plan to upload picture of musicians Michael has worked with and link them to their wiki pages. It will all come together over time. I can understand your frustration. The page you created, at first, consisted of nothing but an external link to a facebook page. You then did a cut-and-paste from there to here, which may be a copyright violation. To help, I have added an expanded welcome notice to your talk page. Can I recover the content to put it into a proper new article ("Watercooler (Shared workspace)" as you suggested)? Nothing is ever deleted, it will be in the article history (above article...view history). As for your sandbox, it is yours, so no need for that template. You should be able to easily access it near your username at the top of any page. Hi! I did not add ANY bias material whatsoever. I only added DIRECT REFERENCED information straight from the USD Biographical website on Bill Janklow. I have no idea why you would flag me for adding biased material when all I added was specific legal cases he had which are public facts? The author of the biographical information on the educational website gave me full permission to use and add the information to this biased article. I did not revert anything of yours. I posted the conflict of interest notice on your talk page given you "Deleted irrelevant false accusations" from the article. Your additional material seems to be fine, but since the section you removed had a considerable effect on his political career it should stay in place. Second there is no such person found at imdb, which indicates he is either non-existent, or is not considered notable. As such I removed your edit. Adding a false/fake person to a notable alumni section can usually be considered vandalism or adding deliberate factual errors. A test-edit warning is hoping you made a good-faith edit rather than a malicious one. hi,

saw you marked the page i've created for 'Adi Ulmansky' for deletion. that's ok - it was rather empty. i have a full page with lots of references for everything i write there in my sandbox (not sure if you can see that), but when i try to publish it as an article, i get an error from an automated filter saying it is not a constructive article. i don't know what makes the filter detect that as such, but this is why i tried publishing a rather empty page first - and add sections gradually to see what causes the problem...

Tastes Like Chicken

You recently reinstated a section removed from Tastes like chicken regarding meat that tastes like chicken. I removed that section for the following reasons 1) It references and incredibly obscure Museum of Comparative Zoology article, which in many cases infers flavour by taking a guess based on an evolutionary theory proposed by the author, with no recognisable basis in any other recognised field of study I can think of or see mentioned. 2) the article referenced is incredibly poor, only a few pages in length, and has comments such as "5. I have only eaten ostrich as ground meat patties sold in an upscale brew pub Westwood, California,USA." and similar 3) Most importantly, it's wrong. Very wrong, on many counts. The most obvious Kangaroo, for example, is a very strong, a dark red meat, that tastes like a strong gamey venison if anything.

Slum

Hi! I think that this series of photos does not reflect the reality of slums in the global scale. It mentions random slums, and fails to mention the largest slums. Slums in Europe are rare, and larger slums than in Serbia (southern Europe) exist in Romania (southern Europe), at least according to this: http://www.targetmap.com/viewer.aspx?reportId=15913

To make the picture accurate, we should show where the slums are actually present. I mean really present. Not where we think they might be some. There are some slums in all Europe but they are relatively small. You could equally show pictures of vineyards in Finland, instead of Spain, Italy or Greece.

I see. My opinion on this is, I much prefer one reason only. There is no reason as far as I can see to consider a G11 (advert) and A7 (notability) on the same ticket. Or a G12 (copyvio) and G11 (advert). I generally prefer to block for one reason and I then pick the one that is most egregious of the ones proposed. One CSD, one reason. That's my motto. Talk page abuse

I took care of your report, but in the future requests for revoking talk page access should go to WP:RFPP. When the AIV bot is running it archives blocked reports automatically, so admins wouldn't get to see it. The bot is pretty inconsistent though, so you could get away with bending the rules. The Reason I Deleted a Post

I removed the following statement: Pichamon Yeophantong became the youngest undergraduate at Thammasat University at 13 years old, graduating with a 4.00GPA; later graduated with a Master's degree, first-class honours, at 18, followed by a PhD in International Relations both from the Australian National University; held visiting positions at Peking University and National Taiwan University; offered fellowships at Oxford, Princeton, and Thammasat at age 22; homeschooled, could speak eight languages by her early teens.[128][129]

Because Pichamon did not graduate at 13 with a 4.0 GPA. The references given do not confirm this claim. Every time I remove this part, someone reverses my deletion. Here is the proof that this is a false claim. Please go to this website and search her name in this document. She received her Bachelor's at 17! I, in fact, wrote to her about this, but she never replied.

Magdalen Institutions

You suggested my article be deleted because there is a duplicate, but the duplicate is actually incorrect yet someone keeps reverting it back to everything i edit. Note the spelling of Magdalen institutions, which is incorrect in that original article... How can i correct this if someone keeps reverting the original article when i edit it and you want to delete the new one with the corrected info??? This is a graduate class assignment that i'm trying to complete. And it's based on my extensive research. If one can't edit a wiki page that has incorrect information, then what benefit does this site have? Continuously defending inaccurate information on a site can, if defended long enough, supplement truth. Which is, in fact, very dangerous. Have you ever read Orwell's 1984, for example? That's a great fictionalized example of how "truths" and "history" can be corrupted. My information in not biased. These institutions, particularly the Irish variety were oppressive institutions that committed major human rights violations. Would you suggest that a page on "slavery" should not include the horrors and mis-treatments that individuals suffered? I'm completely perplexed re: your position on this matter. I was hoping to converse with you on your decision to tag The Benedict Robertson Conspiracy page as Vandalism. I find little fault in the article and fail to see how you do. Yes, there are probably less sources than required, and I am doing my best to find more. A picture of the document in question is pending, as permission to photograph is in high demand. Well, saying that my sources don't "seem" to exist seems like downright ignorance to me, as you cannot even justify your statement. And to what outlandish statements are you referring?

Deletion of article Joe Callum

Hi You recently deleted my band and I's Wikipedia page. We just wanted the world to know we were out there. We have been very active in political and social activism.

Why did you delete it?

You should take a look at WP:MUSICBIO to see what kinds of musical acts are appropriate for wikipedia. Wiki is not a place to advertise yourself (What Wikipedia is Not).
