The Teamwork Barnstar
Thanks for helping complete the free agent list at List of 2013–14 NBA season transactions. —Bagumba (talk) 03:43, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Clifford[edit]

I've reverted you edit at List of 2013–14 NBA season transactions to add the Clifford signing. We usually follow WP:SPORTSTRANS, and only update when the deal becomes official. This source you added is based on anonymous sources.—Bagumba (talk) 17:21, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Free agent[edit]

I've removed players from your edit to add players not in the NBA last season to the FA list. This is not per section description, and also convention in prior season's articles. Also, such a list would be huge (all the world's FAs that could come to the NBA), and the complete list would need a source to be verifiable. Let me know if you have any further concerns.—Bagumba (talk) 17:28, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of 2013–14 NBA season transactions may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • interest in Western novels and looking like John Wayne in the film), "Czech" (because of the second syllable of his last name
 • *Adam Morrison - "AmMo"

Wikipedia as a source[edit]

Regarding your edit to List of 2011–12 NBA season transactions, a Wikipedia article is not reliable source per WP:CIRCULAR. Cite the relevant reliable sources found in Wikipedia articles instead. Cheers.—Bagumba (talk) 06:36, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jersey number[edit]

Regarding your recent changes like this one to add a player's number next to his team in the infobox, can you stop for now and discuss this at WT:NBA, since it is a major style change. I wouldn't want any further work of yours related to this to be undone if there is not consensus. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 04:36, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've started a discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association#Listing_jersey_numbers_for_each_team. Feel free to participate.—Bagumba (talk) 04:52, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Saw your comment at WT:NBA. Again, no problem with you being bold, but the undos are a normal part of the bold, revert, discuss cycle. As such, you shouldn't feel like your edits are wasted, but I would suggest it is usually more efficient to discuss mass changes to a large number of article first before making the changes. That way, widespread changes will have less risk of being undone in the event there is no consensus, which generally saves everyone's time. Keep up the NBA edits!—Bagumba (talk) 20:33, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Bagumba. lego death star

Changes based on "sources"[edit]

Similar to earlier comment above at Steve Clifford, we shouldn't rely on reports attributed to unnamed "sources" per WP:SPORTSTRANS, such as in your recent edit re: Cheeks. An official announcement will come, so just be patient and stay on the lookout. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 22:51, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Timberwolves roster[edit]

I wasn't sure about the source for your changes to their roster. It has been reverted.—Bagumba (talk) 23:07, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of rookies[edit]

I saw that you created lists like List of 2012-2013 NBA rookies. May I suggest redirecting that title to 2012 NBA Draft, which already marks which drafted players have played in the NBA, and also has a section for "Notable undrafted players". It would be better to enhance the draft article as opposed to mostly duplicating the rookie list.—Bagumba (talk) 07:40, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have redirected all rookie lists to the draft lists. There is no reason to have articles that reiterate similar info.—Chris!c/t 02:34, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
