Zehra Laila Javeri Article[edit]

Hi there! I see that you have been blanking the Zehra Laila Javeri article. If you'd like to see it deleted, blanking it will not help. Instead, try following the instructions at WP:DPAFD, and when you put the article up for deletion, explain there why you think the article should be deleted! Thanks :) Quadraxis (talk) 12:27, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • To expand on this: I see that you created the page originally, and have been adding the note that "she doesn't want the page to exist" when you blank it. I'm assuming that you are her, or are connected to her. If so, I think you may have a decent case for getting it deleted if you follow the full deletion policy I linked above. But, to explain why you can't just unilaterally delete the page, please keep in mind that we don't know whether you actually ARE her or are connected to her, you could just be a random vandal pretending to speak for her. Thus, you're better off going through the deletion process since you can explain your case there! --Quadraxis (talk) 12:33, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Zehra Laila Javeri Article Reply[edit]

Dear Quadraxis, I have been trying to delete this article for months now, but I do not understand what to do. I have been trying to follow your previous instructions, however I am failing miserably. I am indeed, connected to Zehra Laila Javeri, I am her daughter. Please help me delete this article, as my mother does not want it up. I promise I am telling the truth, and I can prove it if you'd like. Thank you so much. --Lailamcb (talk) 12:41, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I understand, Wikipedia can be confusing! I am not very skilled at it myself, so I'm going to try to get you in touch with someone who is who can help you out! --Quadraxis (talk) 14:27, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • I've reached out to others and i'll keep an eye on your talk page here too until someone else can help! :D In the mean time, please refrain from blanking the Zehra Laila Javeri article. Leave it alone for the moment and we'll try to work things out :) Thanks! --Quadraxis (talk) 14:54, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You could try {{db-self}}; but make sure you're logged in when you place it this time. Alternatively, you could nominate it for deletion at WP:AFD, giving the rationale that she's not notable, rather than saying she wants it taken down. However, the fact that there are news articles about her from reliable sources means the notability angle is unlikely to work.~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 15:48, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

      • Assuming you are autoconfirmed, you can easily use Twinkle to place CSD tags on articles, picking the criterion. Looking at this article, it looks like it's gonna fall under A7, as the person really doesn't seem to be notable. If it doesn't happen to fall under these criteria, instead use Twinkle to nominate the page for deletion, where people can have a debate as to whether the page should be deleted or not.
