A tag has been placed on Slingas, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ŵïllî§ï$2 (Talk!/Cont.) 00:10, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Slingas, as you said, "should not be taken seriously", but all of Wikipedia article content has to be to meet requirements, and the article has to have importance, but it does not. --Ŵïllî§ï$2 (Talk!/Cont.) 00:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I must be misunderstood. I mean we arent a gang, it is the plot for an independent film that will be shown in film festivals across the state if we finish the script. It isnt going to be some crappy child attempt in making one. I see no reason to delete this article since people around Mass will be interested in what will happen in the movie.

Articles that are deleted[edit]

Please do not recreate articles that are deleted. It is very unhelpful and unconstructive. --Ŵïllî§ï$2 (Talk!/Cont.) 00:24, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So really, you deleted it all. nice. Can I get it back? So I can inform people of the independent film? Will it really kill you guys to let us have this? Will you lose wikipedia people? No.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Request reason:

Well, first off I was spreading word about the independent film the slingas are a gang of my friends, a band and a movie company. We planned to make the wiki and spread word to build up hype. Im not seeing how it was nonsense and how I was banned for vandalism. I really cant see it. I dont think I should be banned, I would like to see my page go back up so I can continue to build up hype.

Decline reason:

You have just admitted that your goal is to continue to attempt to abuse Wikipedia for advertisement and to further your own interests. That is a total violation of the entire purpose of this project. — Orange Mike | Talk 01:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sorry for the confusion. Not sure why Mike called it vandalism, since it just seemed like you were not aware of our policies regarding advertising and non-notable topics. I'm not an admin, so I can't unblock you, but hopefully your unblock request will be reviewed shortly. -- Ned Scott 05:45, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ned and Neil: if you want to know why I used the VOA tag, examine the edit history of the article Manomet, Massachusetts‎ and the deleted contributions of Krause 450 (creation of hoax articles is considered vandalism). I'm not going to reblock him; but I'd suggest you monitor his contributions quite closely. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:34, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|No,I meant I would like to see it back up not that im going to do that anymore. I've learned. I will make articles on the important things from now on when I get unbanned I guess. I did not mean I will continue in promoting the movie.}}.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Please don't make adverts or article on non notable topics again, and you'll be fine.
