Your invitation

Hello,

Thank you for your invitation to join the project bivalves. I created the stubs you noticed to blue links on the article Carrière des Nerviens Regional Nature Reserve. But I do not know much about Bivalves. I am rather botanist. Best wishes Christian COGNEAUX (talk) 19:23, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for your reply. Christian COGNEAUX (talk) 03:22, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

CPIE Bocage de l'Avesnois & co

Dear Invertzoo,

In France, I changed my user name in Gtaf and I created this one in english. In future, would you write me on this talk page, please.

As you see, my english is as good as your french...

Thank you so much for your correction on the article CPIE Bocage de l'Avesnois. I will see it. I began the article Gagea spathacea. Would you correct it too. Thanks again. Friendly, Christian COGNEAUX (talk) 15:07, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

See you soon Gtaf (talk) 15:19, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Invertzoo, As you wish, I add images on the article. Best Gtaf (talk) 19:01, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello there, Invertzoo! Long time no see! I was keen to revamp the Vertigo species articles today, but found all of the red links were not currently accepted, at least according to AnimalBase. This extends to some current Vertigo species articles already in place as well. I could go ahead and do a thorough literature search, but don't have time at present. If you agree, let me know and I'll add it to my to-do list. Kind regards, FoCuSandLeArN (talk) 22:25, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello FoCus, I don't know what to tell you about the Vertigo species list. I will try to find out which database we are relying on for land snail taxonomy, and get back to you. If you haven't heard from me for a couple of weeks please do remind me, as I am currently very busy IRL. Best to you, Invertzoo (talk) 17:26, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Thank you so much, Invertzoo ! Christian Gtaf (talk) 16:51, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello. Is it Belgian Gagea or Belgian gagea ? Cordially Gtaf (talk) 14:51, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

In WikiProject Gastropods we put common names in lower case. On the other hand, WikiProject birds puts them in title case because birds do actually have standardized official common names that are in title case. I looked on the Plant Project page here, and they comment that "WP:Manual of Style says that "[c]ommon names generally do not have each word capitalized"; however, there is currently no consensus within WP:PLANTS regarding the capitalization of common names in articles." So I guess you can do as you please. :) Invertzoo (talk) 17:26, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Obscure deep sea limpets

Invertzoo: I just submitted an image I have been working on for months on Bathyacmaea secunda to candidacy for being a Wikipedia Featured Picture and would enjoy your input (and vote of support maybe??). Check it out! I think it's pretty neat, as molluscs go! Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Bathyacmaea secunda KDS4444Talk 03:24, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello KDS4444, I did make lengthy comments on that page; forgive me if they are rather negative. Next time you attempt something as extremely difficult as this 3D reconstruction, I think it would be good to get some serious input from the rest of Project Gastropods at a much earlier stage in the process. Good wishes to you though and thanks! Invertzoo (talk) 19:52, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Invertzoo, May I thank you for all your constructive edits to the Vertigo (film) article, although I wish that I hadn't have had to trawl through some many individual entries!! Nevertheless, they were all good edits, worthy of such a great film. Kind regards, David, David J Johnson (talk) 20:42, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks David. Yes... unfortunately, when I am trying to improve pre-existing prose, the way I edit (especially towards the end of the process) often forces me to make a lot of very small individual edits. I can't really help it; that is just the way my brain works. I always think "I am done now", and then I see something else, and then another thing, and then repeat, ad nauseam. But I honestly feel that every Hitchcock film deserves the very best attention we can give it. Best wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 20:51, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

A pie for you!

For your diligence on copy-editing the article Vertigo (film).
