October 2017[edit]
Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Daniel Allerstorfer. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

April 2023[edit]
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. BJJ rank icons[edit]
Hey, I noticed that you recently added rank icons to a bunch of BLPs, eg.
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chris_Weidman&diff=prev&oldid=1189371531
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jake_Shields&diff=prev&oldid=1189371434
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Craig_Jones_(grappler)&diff=prev&oldid=1189371278
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nicholas_Meregali&diff=prev&oldid=1189371164
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Firas_Zahabi&diff=prev&oldid=1189371034
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gordon_Ryan&diff=prev&oldid=1189370955
My understanding is that there was an RfC about it where the consensus was against inclusion of rank icons:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Icons&oldid=1150659014#RfC_Can_notable_Brazilian_jiu-jitsu_people_display_a_rank_icon_in_their_infobox_like_Judo_people_do?
I don't remember anything overturning it, but let me know if I'm mistaken. Spagooder (talk) 08:06, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 22[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robert Krawczyk, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Coach. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:48, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
"Link checked"[edit]
Genuinely out of curiosity - what's the point in making these types of edits? If the official URL is there, it's there. If it's on WD, it's on WD. Why remove one to "replace" it with exactly the same thing? Primefac (talk) 17:46, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
