Discretionary sanctions alert for India, Pakistan and Afghanistan[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Note that North East Delhi riots is one of the many articles covered by these sanctions. Doug Weller talk 15:42, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Every week of March?[edit]

Hello Fathimahazara, I was curious about this edit of yours, which states that there was an ijtema in "every of March till March 21". Can you tell me which source is saying this? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 17:54, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fatimahazara, I am still waiting for a response to this query. This is important. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 10:18, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Kautilya.- I am not able to find that relevant source to quote that statement, so I have removed that statement now.--Fathimahazara (talk) 13:16, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But I believe your information to be correct, sort of. So it would be useful if you can hunt for the source. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 14:02, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Does "Aalmi" mean world? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 15:13, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Kautilya3:, Firstly sorry for replying to you here at someone else's talk page, even you have asked someone else (I was just checking your Contributions, so tried answering this). The word aalmi means something that is for whole world. The followers of Muhammad Saad Kandhlawi believe that he is Ameer of whole world TJ while others from the shura faction believe Jama Mosque, Nerul to be their worldwide TJ markaz. The aalmi term with either two would be an exaggeration. As for the every week March congregation, I have no idea. - Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 15:32, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi AaqibAnjum, no problem with replying. We do this kinf of thing all the time, as long Fathimahazara has no objection.
Thanks for your answer. I am shortly going to be rewriting the "Event" section of the hotspot page. We can continue discussing after that. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 15:51, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
AaqibAnjum, please look around http://delhimarkaz.com to see if you can find any useful information. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 16:26, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kautilya3. Good that. I'll have a look at it. Been busy with university assignments since few days. Best. - Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 22:16, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I notice another Tamil Nadu jod, scheduled for 22-24 March. Presumably this was cut short after the Janata Curfew, and 1500 people sent out in the following days. The web site shows a video for only one day. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 09:48, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
