Converting the earlier rejection into a decline. You can keep working on this but remember that you need to show that either he has enough significant coverage to meet WP:GNG, or that his poetry/books have enough coverage that at least two of them meet the guidelines at WP:NBOOK. If you can't find enough references to show he passes either of those guidelines, I'm afraid it's time to give up and try writing about someone else.
