Feel free to downsize where appropriate! I have started coming up with something for part two, did u maybe feel like tackling a plot summary for Part Three and/or the Epilogue?--Mfreud (talk) 00:23, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, every little bit helps right? Feel free to work on downsizing the plot summary I gave, I knew it was long when I was typing it out so I think the comment on the discussion page is that the first part should be more like 500-700 words instead of 900. I think that first thing to do is to finish part three and the epilogue though, maybe you will be able to make it more brief that the first two parts I wrote?? Looks like we might have a GA pretty soon and then a FA, A+!!! for hopefully 40% of our mark!!! :) --Mfreud (talk) 03:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Submission for GA Article[edit]

Hi, Monica and I are hoping our group can submit the article for GA review by Wednesday. We've done some copy editing on it today so if you can contribute to the plot summary, expansion on themes and any other minor editing it would be really appreciated. --Katekonyk (talk) 23:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Part Three Plot Summary[edit]

Hi! So it is now thursday, wednesday has come and gone and we havent submitted the article yet but I was hoping we would be able to do so by saturday or sunday. I was just wondering if you will have time in the next day or so to add the part three plot summary? It is something that needs to get done before we submit it for GA and I know you mentioned you had started working on it. I will reduce Part One and Part Two which I wrote so that the section is a more suitable length but we really can't submit it without Part Three finished. Will you have the time to do it or did you want me to start working on Part Three?

Sorry to be a pest about this but hopefully you are able to add this? Let me know what you think, --Mfreud (talk) 03:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It sounds like the FA team think that part one and two are short enough now so we just need to get part three done! Are you up for it??? :D Just let me know!--Mfreud (talk) 00:01, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Part Three looks awsome! Thanks so much for doing that, ive been swamped with some other stuff this week... I wouldn't worry about the length, if someone tells us to cut it down then sure but i wouldnt worry about it... i asked one of the FA team guys if there was anything else we needed to do and he said no and that one of those guys will do a copyedit, what ever that is looking for... apparently it is better if someone who has not been working on the article does it.

Thanks again, and hopefully we will have a GA (which = an A for us!) really soon!!!--Mfreud (talk) 19:43, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reference Clarification[edit]

Hi Elyse! I have been asked about the reference: ."[1] by Eyeserene, and I have tried to find it via Google Scholar search and I have not been able to. Then i went through the page's long long history and found that you added it way back when. I was wondering if you could put a full citation of it under the references section?? thanks so much, --Mfreud (talk) 19:41, 13 March 2008 (UTC)\[reply]

Facebook Friends[edit]

I have added you, maybe you, Katy and I can communicate a little bit more efficiently that way! I guess the big thing now is to go through the extensive list that the reviewer gave us, it is a little intimidating and when i checked to see the kind of clean up work that the other article up for GA in our class is, the list pales in comparison which is a bit discouraging but hopefully we will make it through and the guy that reviewed us can see we have been really trying to fix up the article according to his suggestions. Fingers crossed.--Mfreud (talk) 06:23, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, I don't think you should feel discouraged, though I can understand that the long list for review looks intimidating. But it'll mean that your article is all the more prepared for the next step, of Feature Article review. The group working on Miguel Angel Asturias still have plenty of work to do, too! But all of you are doing great. --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 08:02, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help with getting FA Status?[edit]

Hi! So we have a GA! Yeah! I don't know if we will be able to get FA by the end of the term or if you want to give it a go, but i wouldn't mind trying to see if we can get our article there. If you have some time to help, the three big things I would love your input on are (as noted by Andewit):

The "Tyranny and alienation" section needs to be expanded.
The "Dehumanization" section needs secondary sources.
The "Fertility and destruction" section needs to be focused around its topic to a greater extent.

If you can help out, that would be great!--Mfreud (talk) 01:23, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
