Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page American Gladiators (2008 TV series) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. To TheChrisD: I was providing a constructive edit. You have misspelled the Gladiator's name and have continuously reverted my edit to the incorrect spelling. "Panther" is a client of mine and the proper spelling of her name is: Corinne van Ryck de Groot. Furthermore, I provided a link to Corinne's official website, not as an advertisement or for a boost in search engine ranking, but as an additional source of information (photos, videos, etc.) for fans trying to learn more about Ms. van Ryck de Groot. I understand the website does exist (the first time I browsed it, it was offline, hence my first revert) - however, the website link does not belong in the Gladiators table. It is sufficient enough in the External Links heading.

Also, I don't completely believe your claim that you are her "consultants" and she is your "client". Would you like to post some proof of that, before you start claiming it in several places? TheChrisD ^{Rants•Edits} 21:43, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why you wouldn't believe me. My company, www.ECKinc.com, has been providing e-Business consulting to Hollywood celebrities and businesses since '99. Nevertheless, if you're still doubtful, please revisit www.SexyPanther.com or www.CorinneDeGroot.com next week. We will by finalizing the implementation of our e-Business Solution v3.0, allowing visitors to purchase Ms. van Ryck de Groot's photographs and custom designed "Sexy Panther" and "KO Panther" clothing. unblock-spamun|WadeEck|I had one (1) article questioned for review regarding my company, MMA H.E.A.T. I participated in the review process, was educated about Wikipedia's preferred practices and then withdrew my appeal. I see no reason why my account should otherwise be blocked. I ask that it be unblocked and if it makes the administrators happy, use WadeEck as my user name. I'm not trying to hide anything. Thanks for uploading File:Karyn Bryant 1324.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

Who is this "us" and "our work"? This account claims at one point to be a single person, and at others talks in plurals, leaving the editors of Wikipedia like myself suspecting that this is in fact a corporate/collective account, not just a single person with an unfortunate choice of username. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:01, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redacting[edit]

To redact/take back statements we usually just ~~strike-through the text~~ instead of deleting. Don't worry about it though. I also wanted to respond to some of your posts on various talk-pages: 1) Thank you for at least being transparent about your associations; you didn't have to but you did, which is appreciated. 2) Your username should probably be changed per the WP:ORGNAME policy, but I don't think there's any rush hence why I didn't report you for immediate blocking until it's changed (which I could) as I though I'd just create unnecessary drama. 3) Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are alway welcome, and speaking only for myself especially in the area of MMA. With your access I'm sure you could contribute a lot of useful material (thinking mainly of images which there's alway a need for, though the same goes for good writers), and if that's your aim know your are more than welcome. But, 4) I can only call it like I see it, and for the time I've seen you edit it has only been around areas of which you have a clear conflict of interest. While you say you only want to provide accurate and factual content, and admittedly I've seen far worse in terms of what people might add, it's still (at best) strongly discouraged and I hope you see why people might have problems with it? After the article was deleted you've vigorously lobbied to have the deletion overturned, calling it blatantly improper on the ground of, basically, how awesome you think the site is. Have you stopped to think you are maybe not the best person to judge this? I can see why you would want to promote your site, but when people are telling you "you're doing it wrong" it might be a good idea to take a step back and realize they maybe right. If I've been unfriendly and/or unwelcoming I apologize, but if you haven't guessed it already I don't particularly like people seemingly promoting themselves on a website which is supposed to be a free encyclopedia with actual encyclopedic content, not somewhere people can create articles on themselves to make themselves seem bigger and more important than they really are, which to be complete honest is what you seem to think it is. Unfortunately, I can no longer refer to the original article, but I can state with confidence that it was not written in a promotional manner. It merely stated facts. It listed the officers of the company, the goal of the company and content that has been covered. Very few if any adjectives were used. The last few days have definitely been a learning experience regarding Wikipedia rules, regulations and guidelines. Today MMA H.E.A.T. premiered it's new 1/2 hour show; we're already receiving great feedback. I have no doubt that someone will eventually rewrite the MMA H.E.A.T. article, eliminating the conflict of interest problem. Since you have an interest in MMA, perhaps you'll even write it one day. Proposed deletion of Movies, For Guys Who Like Movies[edit]

Non-notable TV show. No reliable, independent sources in the article, and none found on Google.
