Signing your posts[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:27, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Who is the "we" that posted (at the wrong place) on my talk page?
  2. While we do permit the creation of "stub" articles, when you post to the main article space, the expectation is that the post at a minimum will have enough content for the lay reader to get some idea what it is about, and some indications of what your sources are and why this subject is notable. This piece as deleted was incomprehensible to the lay reader, and contained only a recursive link to what appeared to be the website of the authors of the Wikipedia article itself. First write the article, then post it.
  3. You appear to be working on a new version of this, with better structure, in your sandbox. This is excellent; this is what should have been done in the first place. Please continue with that; but note that the term "productivity" to which you have a wikilink in the draft, has a different meaning in ordinary discourse than that you seem to be assigning it. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:33, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
