You are right, these are duplicates. As you might have noitices ever country has a Politics of series. In this series allways a head of state article is included. It helps to find your way quickly. It would be nice if these Monarchs of XX could be enlarged, but or the moment this is what I can offer. So please, because of the consistency of the Politics of series, do not delete these articles, but if possible provide more info. Electionworld = Wilfried (talk 09:30, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I still prefer separate articles. If there is a majority for deletion or merger, than a redirect to Commonwealth Realm would be an alternative. Electionworld = Wilfried (talk 09:42, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rao[edit]

Hi, so you moved "RAO" to "Rao (Disambiguation)". I do not completely understand, when I have to add "(Disambiguation)" to an article. Mainly because America (disambiguation) redirects to America which in my perception is a disambiguation-page. So I thought to leave out "(Disambiguation)" in the articles name would be the right thing. If you could share your thoughts on when to add the term "Disambiguation" to an article an when not, with me I would be grateful. Thanks for assisting me with my first wikipedia tries. (Raoulst 09:56, 26 March 2006 (UTC))[reply]

(Copy-and-pasted (oh no!) from user talk:RHaworth.) First of all, thanks for your comments and insight on how to best treat disambiguation issues with Rao. I had read the policies, but I appreciate your helping bring them into context. I must admit, however, that a small part of me is rather annoyed about your referring to me on my talk page as the sinner who destroyed the edit history by doing the copy-and-paste. I tried my best to help User:Raoulst after he had already done the copy-and-paste, and was trying to help him sort out the disambiguation issues in the aftermath. I also helped save the article from speedy deletion. It would mean a lot to me personally if you could clear that point up, please. Thank you. Dalamori 05:39, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I see that I merged the edit histories of Rao and Rao (Surname) to create Rao (surname). I am sure this was the correct thing to do in order to preserve the history of real edits to the article but it has destroyed (or at least made it more difficult to see) the evidence of any copy-and-paste! So I am delighted to withdraw unconditionally any suggestion that Dalamori did a copy-and-paste. My apologies. -- RHaworth 07:40, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Masem[edit]

I've referred your line of argument to User talk:Masem#a notability argument in need of serious rebuttal. Cheers, Jack Merridew 15:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You should raise your argument at Wikipedia talk:Notability (fiction)#Am I reading this right? and not on specific article talk pages. Cheers, Jack Merridew 10:08, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Jack, for that very helpful link, it will probably take me a while to sift through that talk page and start posting, it seems dense reading to me. Dalamori (talk) 10:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Disputed Notability[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Disputed Notability, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

per Wikipedia:CSD#Templates. Whatever this is trying to do should be done to Template:Notability after a consensus to change is achieved

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:Template:Disputed Notability|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jack Merridew 10:37, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This should all be discussed at Template talk:Notability in an effort to achieve consensus. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:21, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Mediation?[edit]

Hello - I am alerting you that we are preparing a Request for Mediation regarding Gavin.collins. BOZ (talk) 04:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am alerting you that we are now considering a Request for Arbitration regarding him as an alternative to mediation, and would like your opinion on the matter. BOZ (talk) 13:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem - looks like you've been gone for a while; welcome back! This talk page contains everything you would need to know to catch up, and you can follow the links for the subpages and see the main page. The mediator Vassyana is refusing additional participants, as six is more than enough to try to handle.  :) So view that page, but do not respond there; if you have anything to say, toss it up on the D&D Wikiproject talk page. During the mediation process, please do not alter Gavin's tags as the mediation process needs time to work. Thanks for the heads up! :) BOZ (talk) 21:52, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oops[edit]

I remember reverting that; I thought they were just sticking in a spam link, I didn't realise it was a legitimate edit (I'm not familiar with that tag and so had no idea it was used like that). Thanks for reverting and for letting me know. --Closedmouth (talk) 02:57, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
