Hello!
[edit]

Welcome to my talk page from 2023, feel free to say hi... Just not here. Go to my talk page. This is an archive and you'd just look really weird if you tried to talk here. That and I'll just revert it.

Help me to organize its citation as you did on khorgo, pls[edit]

Jargalant. I used only a single source, but on its reference its showing multiple duplcations. how to avoid this messy reference? help me Gologmine (talk) 14:16, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, that's weird. If you'd been re-inserting the citation a bunch I'd expect it to have whichever date you re-inserted it as the retrieved date. Gimme a sec and I'll see if I can sort it for you @Gologmine. CommissarDoggoTalk? 14:29, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Did you copy+paste it from source editing? If you go to visual editing and then click on the reference then copy and paste it to other places in the page you'll be able to use the single reference in multiple places. I think if you just copy and paste the source edited version it'll create multiple references. CommissarDoggoTalk? 14:31, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I usually does copy and paste. How to use previously used citation? Gologmine (talk) 14:43, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Look for... Let's use citation 5 as an example, the one you were trying to re-use.
  • Go into visual editing (click "Edit" at the top of the page/in the section you're looking to edit)
  • Click on the citation (listed as [5])
  • Press ctrl+c to copy it
  • Go to where you want to paste it and press ctrl+v
Then you'll be able to re-use it wherever you want on that page. With this method, you can also transfer citations from one page to another. With Khorgo I used this method to transfer some citations for the volcanic geology section. CommissarDoggoTalk? 14:54, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Help on "Deletion page" on other language Wikipedia[edit]

There is an article on Mongolian Wikipedia, which I want to delete. However tags that we use on English wikipedia does not seem to work. Could you help me on that?

https://mn.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A5%D1%8D%D1%80%D1%8D%D0%B3%D0%BB%D1%8D%D0%B3%D1%87%D0%B8%D0%B9%D0%BD_%D1%8F%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%B0:%D0%97%D3%A9%D0%B2_%D0%B0%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%86 this is the link to the article.

{{Proposed deletion/dated}}' this tag from Wikipedia:PROD not really working. Gologmine (talk) 15:18, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, that's because it that template is from EnWiki, I'd assume that there's a Mongolian language equivalent. CommissarDoggoTalk? 17:09, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
