I understand about citing a source, such as a quote from an article or some authority. But how does one cite a scene from a film? In this case, it was a musical number that contained elements which pertained to the subject matter - the striptease. Other films are mentioned but not by scene. Should only the film recieve credit, such a reference to the film's title via imdb.com? The article on citing sources does not cover this aspect. Well, the quick answer is that you find a secondary source that describes or discusses it. Is there a book, journal or newspaper review which mentions it? Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 16:07, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Would that be: "Take back your mink" 1950, from the musical "Guys and Dolls" words and music by Frank Loesser ...and if so, is it still viable to insert it now? Is my addition to the article still present or do I need to resubmit it with the reliable source? Cinemabon (talk) 22:26, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose so -- after all, it's material you propose to add, not me! Possible references might b [1], [2] or [3]. Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 17:03, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
