Image copyright problem with Image:PastPerfectFutureTense.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:PastPerfectFutureTense.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 08:29, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Magne Furuholmen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Analogue (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Erin Hill may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Clark Datchler[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. I undid your edit as we don't link albums/singles directly to its Discogs entry here on Wikipedia. An album or song should only be linked to its own article if it has one. But thanks for adding the two most recent singles. Enjoy editing Wikipedia. Hermetic (album) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Hermetic (album), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 07:57, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I will search for more references. Thank you for letting me know. Cat italia (talk) 11:29, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Buidhe!, I added some references but I got told it's still not enough. I was therefore wondering how to make the article suitable for Wiki. I have material saved on my hard drive, old media links but unfortunately they are no longer online. The release is official and the CD is still sold online so maybe adding the release ID number can be useful? Thanks for your help. Cat italia (talk) 10:34, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've also added to the draft links to the album on both Spotify and Google Play. I noticed that for some artists there are links to such sites for specific songs (I saw a couple of iTunes links on Lady Gaga's discography). Do you think those could be ok? Cat italia (talk) 14:42, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget to add categories[edit]

Hi. I edited several of your articles about Magne Furuholmen albums and noticed a lack of categories in your articles. Please check WP:UNCAT to get more info on why adding categories is important. Good luck with your edits! --Bbarmadillo (talk) 10:31, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I will try to add more categories. Cat italia (talk) 11:27, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Magne Furuholmen albums[edit]

Hello Cat, I see you have reverted the redirects on these albums and added some sources. For White Xmas Lies there are now probably enough sources, but the other two albums are still a problem – Past Perfect Future Tense only has two sources, and one of them doesn't mention the album at all, and A Dot of Black in the Blue of Your Bliss only has one source, because YouTube doesn't count as a source. These two albums are still at risk of being deleted or redirected unless you can find more reliable sources. Also, you should note that the sources should be independent and not connected to the artist, so using aha.com is not a valid source either, and nor is the artist's social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). Richard3120 (talk) 22:36, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Richard3120, Thank you for your suggestions, I will try to add more sources although being the albums old many of them are gone from the internet. I noticed that in the talk area admins added the albums to the WikiProject Albums so I guess they may be considered notable for Wiki. I will improve pages, if you have any suggestions they are more than welcome, especially because as mentioned many articles I saved on my computers are now gone. Cat italia (talk) 07:46, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Adding WikiProjects isn't a sign that the albums are notable, it just alerts the WikiProjects to articles that have been created and which are relevant to the project. I see that you have added some more references, but the Peoplepill and Coldplay blog are not reliable sources, and two of the other sources only state that Magne is working on a solo album and that Coldplay members are involved – that doesn't make the album notable.
If you still have the addresses of the old web pages that you were using, they may be archived on the internet somewhere, and could be retrieved. Richard3120 (talk) 11:34, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Richard3120. A good list of old media is available here but most of them are gone. If you have futherd suggestions on how to add sources I'll gladly add them. Thank you again for your time and help!
I'm still not sure you are following me... Magnef.net is not an independent website, it's the artist's own page, and probably written by him too... you need sources which aren't directly connected to the artist in any way. I'm guessing the Magnefarchive is in fact your own personal blog site – all of the media seems to work on that site so I don't know which ones you say have disappeared. Richard3120 (talk) 14:54, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Richard3120 but the media links on Magnefarchive (which is not my website but a fan site very well done I'm using as a reference for links) give me an error sayng the page is no longer availble (like error 404 for example). Some of the fan forums are still working but I'm not sure they are suitable, if it's ok to use them I will. I'm following you on the official website thing, I just added it as a reference to the dedicated album website. If it's wrong my mistake! I followed your feedback and removed it. I will search for better links although as I mentioned most were removed becase old articles. If you have more suggestions they are welcome. Thanks again for your time.Cat italia (talk) 15:12, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
