May 2011[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Carrie Savage. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. | Uncle Milty | talk | 22:59, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracies in the Carrie Savage article[edit]

Hi Carrie, I saw your post at the Help Desk. I notice that you have been blocked for making legal threats. It is a key policy that Wikipedia editors are not subjected to legal threats over their editing, per WP:NLT. To get unblocked, you need to unequivocally withdraw any threat of legal action.

I understand you say there are inaccurracies in the article. As the subject of the article, you should not edit the article yourself, but that is not the same as must not edit the article. The article's talk page is the correct venue to raise issues. If there is anything that breaches the policy on biographies of living people, then you could contact the Wikimedia Founation by following the instructions at WP:FEFS, where an e-mail address is given.
