This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Asia Pacific Property Awards, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://propertyawards.net/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Speedy deletion nomination of Experion Developers[edit]

Hello Bootpalish,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Experion Developers for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 15:21, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Experion Developers[edit]

Hi, Bootpalish. Thanks for interacting with me on this. I tagged your article for speedy deletion based on criterion A7, "No indication of importance", and at least one moderator must have agreed with me, as I cannot delete articles myself. It is not enough that a company merely exist to enable it to have a Wikipedia page, it must be notable, and notable according to Wikipedia standards. If you want articles on Indian commercial endeavours to succeed on Wikipedia, you need to do two things:

  1. Explain the reason why the company is notable in the first few sentences, but using facts, not advertising hype. For example, "XYZ is an Indian real estate company, known for selling the Taj Mahal in 2012" (a fact), not "XYZ is the leading Indian real estate company, known to one and all as the best" (hype).
  2. Back up your claims to notability with "reliable sources that are independent of the subject", such as newspapers and journals. The company website is no good here because it is not independent, blogs and tweets and facebook pages are no good here because they are not reliable.

If you're unable to find independent, reliable sources, it's generally because the company is not notable in the Wikipedia sense.

Here is the first paragraph of your article on Experion: "Experion Developers is a fully FDI funded real estate development company which is a fully owned subsidiary by Experion Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore. Experio the real estate investing arm of the $2.5 billion AT Holdings group of companies." What in that suggests notability? When I google Experion, I find no press coverage, but only their own website and websites of their properties. I have to conclude that Experion is just another real estate development company.

I sympathize with your desire to let the world know more about Indian companies. But, unless they are notable, Wikipedia is not the place to do that. Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, particularly the sections Wikipedia is not a means of promotion and Wikipedia is not a directory.

Hope this helps. ubiquity (talk) 15:06, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
