Hello BettinaGsott. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:BettinaGsott. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=BettinaGsott|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 11:48, 23 February 2021 (UTC) Dear Theroadislong, thank you for reviewing my article. Of course I am not receiving compensation. Rather, I came across this project and wanted to write about it, picking up on its original message of inspiring change. There is an array of references to prove this projects legitimacy, which I will gladly cite - they are mentioned in the external references. Other than the references, do you see another reason for the article being rejected? Thank you BettinaGsott (talk) 11:25, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fake source titles[edit]

Please do not invent fake titles for published sources, as you did multiple times at Draft:New Horizon Art Car. If an article is published as "2012 BMW Art Cars in Shoreditch", then that is the title, rather than your invented title of "Maurer with Andy Warhol and Roy Liechtenstein". You do not get to invent a new title for the article, as you have done for many sources in this article, to make it look like the sources are about your subject. Being honest on Wikipedia is very important. --- Possibly 07:34, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I didn’t know that. I will change accordingly. Do you have any additional suggestions? BettinaGsott (talk) 07:59, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have fixed them. My suggestion is to stop, the subject is not notable and it is extremely unlilkely that the article will be published. I have done a lot of articles on Art projects and artists, so I had a look at this one. The notable topic is the series of BMW art cars by famous artists. This article is about one car by a fairly unknown artist. The sources do not show it is significant enough for an article. See WP:N. --- Possibly 08:13, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
thank you - this must have been time intensive to fix.

Im a bit heart broken reading your advice to stop. I’ve put so much time and work into this, and I love the passion and dedication on the owner of this project, so I wanted to write about this project. The thing is, it’s not a BMW art car, but rather an independent art project, initiated by one person. It sohappens to be a BMW (chosen for its symbolism). I’d like to give it one more try. Given your vast experience, may I ask for your last piece of advice to maybe make it work? What kind of sources do I need to look for?

Thank you again. BettinaGsott (talk) 14:14, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
