Hanne Blank article cleanup

Hello, I just saw that you've been doing a lot of cleanup on Dr. Blank's page. Thank you for that! I know her and just published an extensive content update, since most of the info was 10+ years out of date. My wikipedia editing has been sparse (made a new login because I lost my old one), so I may have tripped over issues -- I'll keep an eye on the page for flags I can try to clear. In any case, I just wanted to thank you for your help. Dziwozony (talk) 00:29, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi Dziwozony, thank you for your note - I updated the Hanne Blank article after it was nominated for deletion. I also undid your good faith edits for a variety of reasons that I summarized in the edit summary, and have since worked to incorporate some of the new sources into the article. I encourage you to review the guideline for editors with a conflict of interest, disclose your COI, and consider posting edit requests on the article Talk page. I have the article watchlisted so I will know when requests are made, and may be able to offer assistance. Thanks again, Beccaynr (talk) 01:38, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

Brandon Brown Article

Is it or is it not the case that you voted for Joe Biden? If so, and I strongly suspect that you did, then you are incapable of providing bias-free editing and are simply protecting Joe Biden by censoring the Brandon Brown wikipedia page. I live in a former communist country and your illogical and petulant censorship even outdoes them! The BBC reports on the "Let's Go Brandon" phenomenon but you censor it capriciously because it hurts your feelings about your president. Wikipedia isn't about protecting their editors' favorites; it should be about documenting the truth. Your bias is so tremendous that you know more than the BBC and won't allow BBC-cited article on the page. I look forward to your response. Have a nice day. PS Where is your law degree from? I'd like to read about what constitutes proof in your mind.Wmh1978 (talk) 13:42, 26 October 2021 (UTC)

Hi Wmh1978, when I reverted your recent addition to the Brandon Brown (racing driver) article, [1], my edit summary stated, "Please see the RfC on the Talk page of this article", and I was referring to this pending discussion: Talk:Brandon_Brown_(racing_driver)#RfC_about_"Let's_go_Brandon", which is about whether to add the information to the article. Please note in the Responding to an RfC section of the RfC Information page, it includes, Editing after others have raised objections may be viewed as disruptive editing or edit warring. Be patient; make your improvements in accord with consensus after the RfC is resolved. You are welcome to participate in the discussion, and please note the responding section also states, Try not to be confrontational. Be friendly and civil, and assume good faith of other editors' actions. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 14:02, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Wmh1978, please be aware that our "No personal attacks" policy says "Using someone's political affiliations as an ad hominem means of dismissing or discrediting their views, such as accusing them of being left-wing or right-wing, is also forbidden. Editors are allowed to have personal political POV, as long as it does not negatively affect their editing and discussion." Firefangledfeathers (talk) 14:15, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
@Wmh1978: Asking questions like that is a form of WP:OUTING. Don't do it. scope_creepTalk 20:36, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
@Scope creep: Dearest scope_creep, I wish to thank you for your sage advice about the proper editorial etiquette of Wikipedia. However, I shall also like to inform you that omitting salutations and issuing imperatives ("Don't do it") could be construed as confrontational, unfriendly, and uncivil, which is in direct opposition to the words written above. All the best, -Wmh1978Wmh1978 (talk) 22:04, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

I've removed edits you made that were deadnaming Kanaka Murthy's son. Please refrain from doing so. Per the sources that I had listed when creating the article, (See: https://www.deccanherald.com/spectrum/spectrum-top-stories/how-kanaka-murthy-chiselled-a-daring-life-988644.html) Murthy has one child, a (trans) son, which you had edited to one son and one daughter. I've corrected it for now. Please see MOS:IDINFO for more information on how to write about gender identity on Wikipedia. Naushervan (talk) 04:14, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Naushervan, thank you for the correction and I apologize for my mistake. I am well aware of MOS:GENDERID and did not intend to deadname anyone when I added references and content, which I hope is obvious from my mistaken description of two children. My goal was to bolster support for notability from independent sources, but I should have read the obituary by her son more carefully, and I am deeply sorry for my oversight. hi. could you please tell me what label to use for the great template for your "happy holidays" message? thanks! ---Sm8900 (talk) 🌍 03:20, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi Sm8900, I copied the formatting from the greeting I received above, changed the wording and added my own picture from the Wikimedia Commons, but there are several templates available in the holiday section in the template collection below, Beccaynr (talk) 03:38, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
