A tag has been placed on Protafield requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. noq (talk) 13:27, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Devfirewiki,
I encourage you to work on articles in your sandbox rather than the Wikipedia main space where they are held to standards regarding notability and reliable sourcing. When you believe an article meets Wikipedia standards (see your Welcome message above for links), submit it to Articles for Creation where it can be reviewed by an experienced editor. Do you have questions? Ask at the Teahouse. Liz Read! Talk! 15:30, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks you, I am not much of a user on this to be honest, however the material uploaded is my own.. and there for I see no reason for it to be contested, I am a music composer, Photographer and graphic designer.

I appreciate the information, and always require some help. Thank you

Conflict of interest editing[edit]

Information icon Hello, Devfirewiki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Jayce Lewis, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

In this edit you indicated that you were Jaycee Lewis, please clarify this if this is not true. The conflict of interest extends to any bands you are associated with. Verbcatcher (talk) 04:05, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

HiVerbcatcher Devfirewiki, thank you for kindly contacting us. no we are not Jaycee Lewis, that was a typo. We are a record label/licencing that gather historic compositions of work, covering artists and actors. the information we have on the notable artists and actors we cover we update from time to time, helping Wikipedia. We appreciate your contact.

Thank you for the clarification. However, your user name implies that you are editing on behalf of Devfire Entertainment. Devfire's Facebook page[1] and Discogs listing[2] indicate that Jaycee Lewis has released albums on the record label. If this is you then you have a significant conflict of interest regarding Jaycee Lewis and any other artists with which you are involved.
Also, your account should not be shared by multiple individuals, and your username should not unambiguously represent the name of your company, see Wikipedia:Username policy. To change your username see Wikipedia:Changing username. Regards, Verbcatcher (talk) 22:11, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi verbcatcher thank you for your reply, I am not editing on behalf of Devfire Entertainment Ltd and have no affiliation to them, the name is a song title from an artist hence using it. I believe, Jayce Lewis was a signed artist to EMI Records and not Devfire Entertainment Ltd, but I could be wrong!. We/I hold several images in our libraries of artist past and present and contribute this to Wikipedia. This account is only owned by one individual. Myself. To avoid any confusion or issues, I am going to change this username as advised, which I have not been happy with for sometime. So I thank you for that. :) Many thanks - Scott

Hi Theroadislong, thank you for your feedback.. It is disappointing, my valiant efforts in sourcing references relevant to the artists notability weren't enough. I have read all the guidelines and still unsure how this page was deleted, I thought it was enough for publishing. Astroscobee (talk) 20:27, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Jenna Kerr, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
