Brandun, Having two profiles and using one of them to 'thank' the other is quite pathetic. You know very well that Steve is not a member of Polaroid Kiss. Using his fame to sell your forever delayed project is very sad. Stop adding things to the Polaroid Kiss page that are untrue and then I will have no need to remove them.— Preceding unsigned comment added by InstantSnapFeedback (talkcontribs) 21:34, 11 January 2015

Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! 220 of Borg 06:35, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Polaroid Kiss. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. 220 of Borg 06:48, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Polaroid Kiss "Battle"[edit]

@NeilN and @JBH Sorry for asking you to come on my talk page but the discussion on BLPN has reached a dead end to me.

I don't understand why this discussion became so full of hatred towards this band. Steve is a member of PK from almost the beginning and nobody didn't say anything before, so I have to say I'm just very shocked by what's happening.

Anyway, I would like to have a concrete example of what a reliable source is for you because I have to say it's not clear for me.

And if you want proofs that I'm not the founder of the band, let me know. I have a Wikipage in French too. Thanks for your help. ArtemisOfMars (talk) 23:28, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, a reliable source is one that has editorial oversight and a reputation for fact checking. Billboard magazine, Allmusic, Rolling Stone, newspapers are all examples of reliable sources. --NeilN talk to me 23:33, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@NeilN But I doubt they will be interviewed by this type of magazines... That's the main issue. ArtemisOfMars (talk) 23:36, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You've also got alt-music sources like NME and Pitchfork. If they're not interviewed by any reputable source then perhaps they're not notable enough for an article. Wikipedia does not cover the obscure. --NeilN talk to me 23:42, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@NeilN Ok, I'll search and try to find a reliable source that says that Steve is actually in the band. That's not easy but I'll do my best. Thanks for your help Neil! ArtemisOfMars (talk) 23:47, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@ArtemisOfMars:I do not see any more hatred towards the band now than at the beginning. None of the uninvolved editors have said anything other than find sources that are acceptible to the editorial policies of Wikipedia. And as I see NeilN has repeated above while I was writing. Where the frustration is comming in is that you do not seem to understand that Wikipedia has policies. I'm not going to link them again because, frankly, I am tired of bluelinking shit. Those policies will not change just because you want to put something in an article. You have been told several times by three neutral editors what type of sources are required. I have looked for them, I assume you have looked for them and they are just not there. It is now time to, please, WP:DROPTHESTICK and move on.

As to the COI issue, I really could not care less who you are in real life, you act like a COI editor so I treat you like a COI editor. Just as I suspect any other Wikipedia editor who has read this dispute would. My opinion of InstantSnapFeedback is exactly the same. I do not give a damn who he/she is they act like a COI. There is one difference though, even in all the venom, ISF made a policy based argument for the exclusion of the material. That will prevail every time here on Wikipedia.

I think that the BLPN discussion has come down on not including Steve Hewitt so please do not edit to add him back in without having a source as previously described to you to back it up that could and likely would lead to sanctions from an admin.God that makes me sound like a dick but it is true. I will keep Polaroid Kiss, Steve Hewitt and all the other related pages on my watchlist so I should be around to help. JBH (talk) 00:27, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SPI Notice[edit]

I have opened a SPI Investigation Request into Drameu, ArtemisOfMars, Christian Sands, Sosgeneral. Since I publicly accused these accounts of being SOCKS I feel it would be unethical not to. JBH (talk) 22:04, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A deletion discussion has been opened[edit]

A discussion at WP:AfD has been opened for Polaroid Kiss here your input would be appreciated. JBH (talk) 00:59, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SPI Result[edit]

The checkuser results show your account unrelated to Drameu based on technical information. My apologies. JBH (talk) 15:11, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@JBH It's ok, don't worry about that. It's true that it was a bit weird. I will do my best to try to contribute without creating another "edit war". ArtemisOfMars (talk) 16:34, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
