What kind of sources would you recommend for this? Unfortunately all I could find was stuff referring to the withdrawal of the trains from before they were withdrawn. The only other proof is that I can't find any services with these trains on Realtimetrains from the last week and the fact that TransPennine have removed references to the Novas 3s on their website. There is also the fact that TransPennine have completely changed the timetable to spread their 185 fleet out more which they wouldn't have needed to do it they were keeping the nova 3s. If there is no direct source that these trains have been removed then would a note on the page about them very likely have been removed without stating that they definitely have be okay? 78.150.177.111 (talk) 22:24, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well there's plenty of evidence of their absense just no official statement other than the announcement that they would be withdrawn in August, if they never said they changed their mind then surely a source from the past is fine? There is some vague evidence aswell but I'm not sure how to cite it. It's notable for example that references to the Nova 3s have been removed from the TransPennien Express website, specifically on their section about their vehicles and I have not found them to be on any services on Realtimetrains, nor have I been able to find any footage of the trains in passenger services over the last week. I would hate for the page to be incorrect so even if a statement like "as of 17th December 2023 the trains have been removed from the TransPennine Express website and not shown to be in service on realtimetrains nor has any new footage/pictures emerged of them in service since the timetable changes. This matches with the announcement by TransPennine in August that the trains would be withdrawn in the December 2023 timetable changes" is okay to add then I'd be happy. I understand that Wikipedia wants things to be easily varifiable but in this instance it's quite hard to find a verifiable source other than the articles in August and September. If no changes can be made then i understand and apologise for wasting your time.
