Welcome![edit]

Hello, Alanaziabdul, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi. To assign yourself an article from the list your instructor created, please follow these instructions. If you want to assign yourself a different article, try this page.

You can edit an article that's "live", or you can draft your additions in your sandbox. It's up to you. There's no approval process before your edits are visible, but other people will be able to modify your edits after.

If you want to communicate with other people, either use their talk page, or use the talk page of an article. If you're discussing changes to an article, it might be good to discuss it on the article talk page. If it concerns another individual, you might use their talk page.
