Signing talk page posts[edit]

Hi. I was just browsing WP:Teahouse, and I saw your query about signing posts on talk pages. I noticed you have not posted on any talk page since. Your problem was that you were adding double tildes (≈) instead of single tildes (~). That won't work. I suggest you do what the editor at the Teahouse said, and work your way through the keyboard until you find the single tilde, or else type ALT-126 on a numeric keypad. Cheers. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
