February 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Green papaya salad, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 06:26, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You also removed six other wp:reliable sources with that "blog post" removal. Adakiko (talk) 06:33, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia goes by what wp:reliable sources (RS) state. If you have RS that has another origin, please cite it as well with "Laos" and the existing citations. If you wish to object, please discuss on talk:Green papaya salad. Such discussion should go there rather than our talk pages. See wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle, help:talk pages and, for more detail, wp:talk page guidelines. You do need to cite RS to support your points otherwise you will be ignored. See help:referencing for beginners. You can ask for help at the wp:Teahouse. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 06:49, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Again, by what RS states. Our opinions on Wikipedia are irrelevant. Discuss on the talk page as described above before restoring content. Adakiko (talk) 07:58, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Green papaya salad. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Adakiko (talk) 07:58, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I undid your addition to my talk page as the discussion belongs on talk:Green papaya salad. I will ignore any further such discussions on your talk page. See above on how to start a discussion. Adakiko (talk) 08:14, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
