Finding village level population data

1, The folder Кількість та територіальне розміщення населення (Number and territorial distribution of the population) must be selected. This reveals several sub-folders.

2. Кількість наявного та постійного населення сільських населених пунктів (Number of current and permanent population of rural settlements) should be opened.

3. Select the file of the relevant oblast.

4. Now on a new interface, in the open leftmost column select the region/oblast (о́бласть) the village is located in.

5. Immediately above the previous column is a dropdown menu, from this select the district (район) the village lies within. Due to re-organisations this may differ from what's presently in the article.

6. The interface will reload. From the lefthand most column find and select the name of the village you are looking for.

7. Make selections in the second, third and fourth columns. The column titled (Рік) is simply the year, so click on the relevant year. The next column is Категорія населення (Population category) which will present options such as ПОСТiЙНЕ and НаЯВНе. The final column on the right will also need to have an option selected.
