I am a former journalist who dropped out in 1988 during the Second Summer of Love to join the Encyclopaedia Psychedelica as Deputy Editor.

After thoroughly blowing my mind on psychedelics and becoming fascinated making moving chaos fractals, I made the first (AFAIK) of what was to become known as the 'long-form' music video, where music and visuals shared equal importance - as opposed to one element being created to complement the other. Called Simple Harmonic Chaos, it was 45 minutes long with ambient didge music by Lights In A Fat City (Steven Kent, Cyrung and Simon Tassano), and edited by John Walsh. Ysanne Spevack and Fraser Clark supplied inspiration. It premiered in the Green Field at Glastonbury Festival in 1990.

That led in 1991 to a video project called Dr Devious and the Wise Men with dance music artist Guru Josh, with four further long-forms titled Dance In Cyberspace, More Dance In Cyberspace, Dr Devious and the Temple Of Chaos, and VR3 - Hardcore Style.

I became a VJ first with club Tonka at the Zap Club in Brighton and then with Raindance and helped to create Megatripolis nightclub as resident VJ in 1993, as well as VJing for Return To The Source.

Later I worked as VJ and then floor manager at Escape from Samsara nightclub at The Fridge in Brixton.

In 1989 I was ordained a minister in the Church of the Subgenius by Robert Anton Wilson, taking the title Pope Wizardprank the Once, CoSG. Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.
