Because of the way IPv6 addresses are assigned, users editing from them may frequently be given a new address on their network. This makes some work challenging, as it is difficult to track their contributions or find a specific edit they may have made in the past. However, it is fairly rare for an address to change outside of the last 4 groups of numbers (the /64 subnet). This script adds a link to view all contributions from this subnet to the contributions page of all IPv6 editors, in order to more quickly navigate to this page.

Installation[edit]

The easiest way to install this script is to click the Install button in the infobox on this page - if there is no button, enable the script installation gadget by checking the box next to Install scripts without having to manually edit JavaScript files under the Advanced section in Preferences → Gadgets.

Alternatively, place {{subst:iusc|User:Tollens/subnetContribs.js}} at the very bottom of your common.js page, creating it if it does not yet exist. Do not add any additional text to the page (other than anything that was there already).
