My name is Sean Thackrey; I am, as I have been since 1979, a wine-maker in Bolinas, California/USA, with a strong pride in my craft and an equally strong interest in its history. My website (http://www.wine-maker.net) is devoted largely to transcriptions of early manuscripts and printed books related to wine-making. I would like to write a history of the craft, since no such book has ever been written, but this will take time.
