Not My Turn to Die: Memoirs of a Broken Childhood in Bosnia is a book by Savo Heleta about his experience in a conflict.[1]

Critical reception for Not My Turn to Die was mostly positive, with a reviewer for Teaching Sociology calling it "powerful".[2][3][4] A reviewer for the Bosnian Institute commented that Heleta has "a couple of wrinkles in his political ethics that he needs to address" but that it "does not detract from the value of his moving memoir."[5]
