Hi there, my name's Dave. I've been editing Wikipedia on and off for a couple of years but always from an anonymous ip. I've decided to set up an account because I've found ip users tend not to be taken as serioulsy as registered users, especially on talk pages and in discussions regarding deletions and mergers and the like. I tend to make fairly minor edits mainly to mobile video game articles as that's the field I work in. If I stumble across any interesting talk page discussions, I'll often offer an opinion. Hence becoming a registered user!
