I was born in the Coastal Plain of North Carolina, but i currently live in the low country of South Carolina, near Charleston. I am a Welder, a Postal Worker, and a Blood Donor. I spend most of my free time in the woods, reading, or crawling the web. I'm fascinated by Nature, Linguistics, History and Politics.
I'm interested in the preservation of nature, and the native biodiversity of different regions. I love old-growth forests and i hate lawns. I find herbal medicines and the practices of pre-christian religious groups around nature very interesting.
The study of language has always fascinated me. Most of my interest lies in the evolution of dialects, the difference between a dialect and a language, and the origin of languages. If you have any questions about language or want to share information about your native language or a language you're studying, please reach out! I'm always interested in a conversation, even if we might have trouble understanding each other.
I have been interested in history since i was able to read. I am particularly enthusiastic about the history of pre-christian Europe and western/northern Asia, as well as the medieval era and the modern age. I personally practice a pre-christian faith, and try my hardest to provide accurate information about pagan thought and practices.
Understanding the political landscape is crucial in today's world. From local elections to national policies, politics affects every aspect of our lives. I have my own strongly-held political ideals, but i try to keep them from influencing how i use Wikipedia. I stay apolitical in editing and making articles and try to remove any present political bias from any articles where it's present.
