American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides information and support to professionals working with victims of child abuse. It was founded by David Corwin in 1987. The organization is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, with independent chapters in nine states.
Mission[edit]
APSAC aims to improve child abuse response through training and education of those who work with victims of child abuse.
Publications[edit]
APSAC produces five publications available to members and non-members alike.
The APSAC Advisor
Child Maltreatment is the organization's official journal, published quarterly since February 1996 by Sage.[1]
